This Months picture is Drogan in dragon form with a female from the blue dragonflight.

The background of this image gave me such hell... my hand is killing me..

And yes, they had a pet cat, because what is more adorable then a worgen snuggling with a kitty?

It is homage to an old painting I had when I was about 7, I still remember it with perfect clarity.. and have been searching online for it for years hoping that one day, I might find it again.

Is this it?
Amocin 13th Apr 2014, 7:24 PM edit delete reply
Far from it. It was a realistic looking horse, with a very nicely spiraled horn. Its hair was rainbow colored. The background was the night sky, with the horn passing through a full moon.

Oh, man, this doesn't sound like it will end well, stuff like this rarely does. And seeing the adorable baby boy just make it all the harsher to know that she killed him while out of control.

We know it didn't end well, or do you mean, because this is a nightmare, things will be worse than what really happened?
SiriusLeeLost 11th Apr 2014, 1:03 AM edit delete reply
hmm...how many years has it been since her change? Seems odd there's a nursery in a forsaken mountain fortress if you ask me..unless it was design by Amo lol
Blaidd 11th Apr 2014, 1:23 AM edit delete reply
Not sure how up on WoW lore you are, but I believe the dream is a flashback to Kinar's life in Gilneas (the Worgen home city). First the Gilneans had to deal with the worgen curse, then as they were recovering from that with the help of the Night Elves. The undead attacked the city enmass, forcing the worgen to flee to the night elf city of Darnassus. If you're a lore buff http://wow.joystiq.com/2011/01/19/know-your-lore-king-genn-greymane-of-gilneas/
SiriusLeeLost 11th Apr 2014, 1:38 AM edit delete reply
Oh I know of the lore, I'm just curious as to how far apart time wise we are here from then. After finding out your family was killed, you think the greaving proses would last into months or years before hinting at a new mate.
Amocin 11th Apr 2014, 1:48 AM edit delete reply
Both of your statements are a little confusing, but I think thats because you may be confused about what is going on currently. How is a new mate being hinted at? And this nursery is not located at a Forsaken Mountain Fortress, its taking place back at Kinar's home in Gilneas as stated earlier.
SiriusLeeLost 11th Apr 2014, 2:01 AM edit delete reply
Sorry for the confusion, I've must of miss a part. But what is her relationship with Kinar then? Your suspense kills us! D:
Amocin 11th Apr 2014, 2:24 AM edit delete reply
There are two characters.. Amo the Death Knight, who is currently captured.. She is not from Gilneas.. Did not have a family before getting hitched to Kinar's brother Shai.

Then you have Kinar, who was married in Gilneas with a child. She lost them during that time, and after going through the grief and depression, met Serid and started doing things with him. Years have passed between the time Kinar lost her husband and child. (the people we see above), and them being in Icecrown.

So, this is not a dream for Amo, this is a 'dream' for Kinar. Her scars are simply not present, to help illustrate that timeline.

Amo's natural eye color is not brown, and she doesnt wear her hair like that.. She also rarely shows such fear and is far from timid. Kinar's features are softer and rounder, where as Amo has more of a 'point' to it, most prevalent in the cheeks.
RJ 11th Apr 2014, 1:23 AM edit delete reply
If what he is saying is true, they're son not only is still alive, but he could be in Stormwind at the orphanage or in Darnassus with the night elves depending on how long ago this was. The boy could even be starting his adventure if he is old enough, but gauging time based on the release of Cata, he should only be a few years old, so who knows? The author.
Rankamateur 11th Apr 2014, 8:05 AM edit delete reply
It's hard to say whether Kinar's son would "be starting his adventure if he is old enough". No more than a handful of years could have passed between the birth of her son and the story's current timeline...so unless a Worgen child ages rather quickly in comparison to a normal human, he would barely be out of his toddler stages.

However...if in the course of writing this fictional account, Amocin decides to consider the growth cycle of canines (i.e. wolves / worgs) as being germane to that of young Worgen, he could very well be a young adult by the ripe old age of two years. Blizzard's developers (creators of the game) have yet to ever release any information regarding this, since no mention of Worgen children has ever been made. Given this, Kinar's boy (if her husband is not lying about his survival) could physically be the age of a toddler, an adult...or anything in between.
purewolf 13th Apr 2014, 3:14 PM edit delete reply
the husband is alive... hes the one commanding the "evil" worgen's... he even told drogan "you will regreat brining my wife into this" after he seen kinar with her dragon

Hello there,

Firstly...I want to say what an EXTRAVAGANT page! I love how you've depicted EVERYTHING (this includes the unicorn artwork as well). I wonder what OTHER side twists are you plotting? :P you're TOO cheeky leaving us little crumbs to pick up :P.

Second....you're ABSOLUTELY correct, what is more adorable than a worgen baby WITH a little kitty? :3

Third...I ABSOLUTELY love the emotion you've drawn on slide 3 (Mordin ushering Kinar towards a room). She's absolutely terrified on what she's about to see. Not to mention, LOVE the eyes on Mordin.

and lastly... Is that a Ysera dragon a top of Kinar's and Mordin's son? looks rather familiar?

Once again, thank you for posting this wonderful page, each piece you give your viewers...each page is cherished by your followers :).

Sincere Kind regards,

nuklear 11th Apr 2014, 4:08 AM edit delete reply
Okay, I see two possibilities. One, Kinar is dreaming of something she wishes happened; or two the death knights/or someone else is playing with her head trying to get her out of the game by giving her a wonderful dreamworld where her greatest regrets didn't happen so she won't want to leave... if its the second I almost pity the bastard doing it... almost
Aetheos 11th Apr 2014, 5:26 AM edit delete reply
Bringing this into question you would wonder if their son was really killed or not. Seems harsh to bring the kid into the dream if it really was killed... I mean Mordin just...disappeared I would assume that possibly mordin took him with him and the bones they find the night they searched the house were possibly...well...something else's bones? Like the cat's

Love the story, lots of twist's and Great art detail!
I'm sure your hand is soar with all of that wounderful detail.
Only one thing.....the infant in the cradel.....since he is in worgen form then should'nt his pj's reflect such at the feet? I understand we are only seeing the outline through the cloths but still it would seem to me there should be a defined shap of the paw and ankel different to what appears to preasentley resemble a human foot.
I could be wrong, and please corect me if I am as I am still an understudy of art.:)
I truly do not mean to pick, just trying to learn all I can about art and differnt posses.:)

Hmm interesting dream Kinar is having, wonder where this will go and how it will effect her. Cause in her dream she just admitted she knows what really happened, and what was hinted at earlier on in the comic.

Also agreed with the kitty, my worgen druid has a white kitten and a Gilnean raven as pets. :3
Amocin 11th Apr 2014, 12:00 PM edit delete reply
Those are the things she remembers, but there are bits and pieces missing. Every Worgen is different when it comes to this. Some dont remember anything, some remember everything down to the last detail, and some just have flashes of memories.

Kryptkeeperr 11th Apr 2014, 10:07 PM edit delete reply
I like many other WoW players who read your comic, are probably curious about now whether or not this a dream brought on by Ysera the aspect dragon (hinted at by the green dragon figurine) or an actual nightmare/fantasy/flashback brought on by her own mind. It will be quite interesting to see how this plays out and see which theory is correct. Very nice job amocin, dropping eye candy that could tell us whats happening or throw us off. Very well done indeed. Keep up the great work.
Rankamateur 12th Apr 2014, 7:52 AM edit delete reply
You only cite two possibilities for the source of Kinar's `waking dream'; her own mind, or Ysera, the dragon aspect of nature (and admittedly, dreams). I grant you that the toy green dragon over the child's crib could be considered an indication of Ysera's influence, but I think that may be just a coincidence. Kinar is a druid after all, and the green dragonflight's ruler happens to be revered by them...so it stands to reason she would be represented in some way within Kinar's home.

Another possibility, which I believe to be more probable, is that the originator of Kinar's dream is Mordin. My theory is that her former husband is mentally invading her mind in an attempt to influence her...to sway her into opposing her current allies, who happen to be his current enemies.

Within the next few pages of the comic, I expect the hammer to fall. Mordin will use Kinar's natural fealty to her family to coerce her into abandoning the others. Naturally, I could be completely off-base and utterly wrong...but I don't think I am.
Kit 12th Apr 2014, 7:34 PM edit delete reply
My vote is on repressed memory. This was the original reality before her husband turned evil.
Kryptkeeperr 11th Apr 2014, 10:10 PM edit delete reply
On second thought, that green dragon figurine above the babys crib could be like our own kind of dream catcher in real life. Symbolizing good dreams, and snatching the bad ones as green dragons do have control over the dream world. Didn't even occur to me when i made the first post. If that's the case, it is extremely clever and I would like to say very very imaginative on your part. Wouldn't have thought to do something like that. So very well done. Haha
Amocin 11th Apr 2014, 10:32 PM edit delete reply
The green dragons do have domain over dreams, so at any point they could enter should they wish to.. But I do figure it would be quite typical of parents to hang green dragons over the cribs of their children, or even keep one by their own beds. It could be even more common for Druids to have some sort of homage to them around the house in one form or another.

i hate the horde so much!!!
ViperSF 12th Apr 2014, 9:55 PM edit delete reply
Most of the Horde isn't responsible for the Attack on Gilneas.. that was mostly the forsaken and Garrosh Hellscream... this is why I favored Thrall as the war chief then Garrosh. so if your going to hate the horde its Garrosh and Sylvanas you should focus on
Amocin 12th Apr 2014, 10:47 PM edit delete reply
I agree with ViperSF. The Horde itself is not inherently evil. Garrosh was, and did many bad things.. But the same can be said for some of the Alliance members. Some did bad stuff. Thrall was a very honorable leader who was well respected almost universally. He had many friends that ranged over many factions, and even though the red dragons do not like orcs at all, they worked with him.

Also, though I did not play Mists of Pandara, I believe both Alliance and Horde got together to take Garrosh (former leader of the Horde, after Thrall) down. Ive only seen the clips from the cinematics though.
dragondruid 13th Apr 2014, 1:03 AM edit delete reply
ive played mists and have done last raid content they didnt like each other but of course Garrosh was a common enemy they both shared and they put aside their differences for Siege of Orgrimar and did work together to defeat him and of course u as the player did bring him down but of course its not an easy fight. Course without Garrosh around to watch Sylvannas im sure we'll see her causing trouble in a later expansion
Nielspeterdejong 16th Apr 2014, 11:46 AM edit delete reply
I don't think that's entirely true. Sylvanas wasn't persecuted at the end of mist, even if she deserved it. And most of tge Horde was behind Garosh, and willingly followed him and did horrors themselves. Especially the Forsaken
Kyre_Dusk 14th Apr 2014, 2:08 PM edit delete reply
It's not Sylvanas that should receive the hate; it should be directed at Arthas for not truly killing her, but bringing her back as an undead/forsaken.
dragondruid 14th Apr 2014, 9:55 PM edit delete reply
I agree with u on Arthas Definitely his fault for what hes done to her but if u have played both the Worgen and Forsaken starter quests for their you'll see that she is stuping down what Arthas has done to try and achieve victory rather than doing it the fair way
