Im very butt ravished cus I dont have the money to bid on the picture :/
Zieg 28th Nov 2014, 2:39 AM edit delete reply
Your bat pony is very prettily drawn. I'd shake the hand of the artist if I could. I too lack the funds for the bid. Would've been fun to see my DK Worgen with Amo. XD
Dark Phoenix 28th Nov 2014, 9:20 AM edit delete reply
I don't think the curse works on Tuarens. They're both animal like and he's not human.

'Dad Kinar is trying to kill Serid!'

'That's My girl'

Does anybody notice his face when the female asks why her eyes are glowing? I mean that is a perfect 'Oh shit' face.
Amocin 28th Nov 2014, 9:32 AM edit delete reply
The curse would work on him.. Why? Because the curse comes from a forbidden DRUID form. So any race that has access to Druids is vulnerable to the curse.

Remember that the first worgen were in fact Night Elves, and that the curse transferred from a Night Elf to the Human population. It is not race specific.
Guest 28th Nov 2014, 3:11 PM edit delete reply
gnhhhh, that makes things even m-o-r-e mysterious... °3°

O shit
Aetheos 28th Nov 2014, 10:23 PM edit delete reply
O.o so a Taurgen? Lol. Nice ^^ Jk about the name. I know it's still a worgen technically... but then again I've never seen a non-human worgen in worgen form so that would be...interesting.
Thasadar 29th Nov 2014, 1:39 AM edit delete reply
but ehmm why humans can become a worgen i mean they dont have Access to be a Druid ?
Aetheos 30th Nov 2014, 4:24 PM edit delete reply
In world of warcraft all race-class restrictions are there for a reason. Normal humans under the authority of the alliance cannot be druids or shaman because it is not the religious/lifestyle norm. Draenei can't be warlocks or rogues because of their lifestyle and beliefs. Orcs can't be priests because shamans fill the religious leader role. Trust me there's a reason for everything. But humans ARE capable of becoming druids, the people of gilneas practiced the druidic arts over the light, that is why worgen (from gilneas) cannot become paladins in game but can become druid instead.
DSquad 30th Nov 2014, 4:30 PM edit delete reply
Actually some humans do or we wouldn't have the in game worgen race. Gilneans have a background for it, thus why your in game worgens are from Gilneas. As stated before Amo however is not originally from Gilneas, but as Amocin explained (as it's been in game) the worgen cruse made the jump from Night Elves to Human as was also documented in (World of) Warcraft lore

so yeah as "guest" said... dose he get cursed? lol... on a 2nd note... god i can not wait! for next week, i wanna see when she wakes up... how she will react to her doings to serid.. and what his reaction will be
AJ_Phoenix 28th Nov 2014, 2:57 AM edit delete reply
It might just be me, but I think that the right spelling/grammar of the female worgen's question is actually "Why are her eyes glowing?"... Just saying, please don't kill me >.<
Amocin 28th Nov 2014, 3:43 AM edit delete reply
That.... is a weird error and I have NO clue how it happened. I will fix it in the morning, thank you for pointing it out.
AJ Phoenix 2nd Dec 2014, 12:15 AM edit delete reply
Thank you for not jumping to my neck when I point it out >.< You're the most civil artist I've known so far, not to mention one of the most skilled :) Great story and characters!
AJ_Phoenix 28th Nov 2014, 3:00 AM edit delete reply
By the way, I LOVE how you can put comedy and tragedy together in just a page! The fact that Koutack at first dismisses Kinar's actions but then jumps to action when he realizes that his daughter is doing the "whole glowing eye thing" again XD
Cloud 28th Nov 2014, 3:26 AM edit delete reply
Wow, I kinda love how Kinar's dad is all fine with her trying to kill Serid up to finding out her eyes are glowing, then hes like 'Stop her now!'
Dreamfox 28th Nov 2014, 3:34 AM edit delete reply
'Guest' raises an interesting question.
To my knowledge, the wild worgen are all in human or formerly human settled lands with no connection to places were other races live. I don't think an infectious worgen biting another species but humans did not happen in the official parts.

In this case it should not matter, as Kinar has been given the cure like every other worgen from Gilneas they could catch.

On the oother hand, her glowing eyes and loss of self-control are not normal. As so often with this comic, we will have to wait and see.

If she can infect others during her glowing eyes phases and it works on other races as well, well, that opens up a lot of possibilities.
-Koutak going crazy because he may have to accept Serid as a son-in-law
-Kinar and Serid may have practice safer sex to avoid pregnancy

Now to something else.
Who is that cute female worgen?
Scotty 28th Nov 2014, 9:17 AM edit delete reply
I think it has already been suggested that Kinar is pregnant. I've started wondering, could Morgen's plan take an unexpected turn and Serid becomes a worgen and causes the shield to break?
Dreamfox 28th Nov 2014, 8:14 PM edit delete reply
It takes three to keep up the shield and as long as Kinar doesn't attack them, it will stay in place.
Her being berserk may disturb the shield through the Emerald Dream, but with her father and brother around I wonder if the guilt trip that sent her bersek will hold for long. Not to mention the other Alliance druids around.
Silegna 4th Dec 2014, 7:40 PM edit delete reply
Sadly, unless the Amo bends the lore, Worgen children? Human.
Aetheos 28th Nov 2014, 10:30 PM edit delete reply
Well it's already safe to assume that Tame worgen have the ability to change others either through bites or by having someone drink of their blood. Drinking of their blood however is a much faster alternative and may or may not give you instant sanity (If the worgen who's blood you drank was sane him/herself) as hinted by the scenario during the horde's story for the battle for silverpine forest. Since every worgen was shown to be sane... ofc that could have just been for the sake of the game. And also if drinking of their blood is all it really takes then Mordin's plan could be easier to execute than one would think. They could simply taint any and all water they come across with worgen blood. Thereby infecting entire settlements at once.
Guest 29th Nov 2014, 10:59 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, I remember the worgen in Grizzly Hills also being able to turn human, and there really isn't an explanation on why they can do so.
Dargon 28th Nov 2014, 5:55 AM edit delete reply
Love the action! Very well planed and laied out I Truly must admite.
Great series thus far, Keep up the Grand work!!:-)
3B 28th Nov 2014, 6:06 AM edit delete reply
Biting is how a worgen shows they love you!
Guest 28th Nov 2014, 7:04 AM edit delete reply
Now this is an interesting dilemma. She already took the potion, but it was only the temporary cure, and it wasn't perfect, so it's possible this is the curse continuing to manifest. If it is, then sort of bad news for Serid, but also sort of good news I guess.

For those that know of such things, technically the curse originated as a Night Elf thing, but in the player's case, it is infecting humans. (as it is also in other places as well) She may feel the same way that I do in that the curse can be transferred to ANY race.

I could be wrong, though, and this could be something else. She is the only one this happens to that we know of. There could be another reason she has a super powered evil side, but I can't figure it out in that case.
3D 28th Nov 2014, 8:40 AM edit delete reply
All guys love a girl with bite; don't even try to deny it.
Danthehorseman 28th Nov 2014, 11:59 AM edit delete reply
I have some questions on werewolfs if a worgen is bitting other races can they get the curse too. but first i would deal with the one causing the issues and starting more trouble I would surjest in the best possible matter not to sound sexal or rude but please for give me if I up set any one. my best idea is to bind her to a chair and strap her jaw down until they find what they are dealing with. we all know unless some don't play wow or watch werewolf films.

That if a human is bitten by a werewolf or in this case a worgen. but if human can get the cursed. is it the same for a blood elf drawf ghome. and if so. is there a chance of werecow or in this case werebull. but if the curse can spread, I think my action plan would be deal with the wound and heal best you can with what is adviable and deal with the one causing the bitting by muzzle or chains or ropes, but I hope he is not cursed and I hope she comes round in time. but I think this is very interesting subject. I hope your well take care god bless be safe. sorry for poor English but I thought it ws best to say sorry in cased I up st any one. have a nice evening and nice weekend danny.
Kira Vixen 28th Nov 2014, 1:20 PM edit delete reply
Amocin I am so sorry. >_< I really like your comic...but your characters...ugh they're such jerks! like Kinar's father being glad that Kinar is killing her boyfriend. what an asshole. >_<
Amocin 28th Nov 2014, 8:25 PM edit delete reply
He didnt really think Kinar would try to kill anybody, its Kinar after all.. Notice how his mood changes when he realizes that she may actually kill him because she isnt 'normal' Kinar.
Kira Vixen 29th Nov 2014, 3:23 AM edit delete reply
"it's Kinar after all"? giving your character description on Kinar she isn't a Worgen with a heart of gold. look...I understand Kinar's father lost his wife and his children during the fall of Gilneas and I know his type...he's just looking for excuses to get rid of Serid. and I can't see why he won't let Kinar kill Serid anyway. normal or not.
Luke 29th Nov 2014, 6:12 PM edit delete reply
Are you seriously trying to interpret and explain the characters motives to the author? Really? Just think about that a little bit.

Amocin made the comic- If she says that he didn't initially realize kinar could actually hurt Serid, then that's what happen.

All the same and that said, you are obviously entitled to your own opinion. Because, you know... 'Murica.
Amocin 29th Nov 2014, 11:38 PM edit delete reply
Well said... I know whats going on in Koutack's mind more then anybody else. He is not looking for excuses to get rid of Serid, and death is a bit extreme..Also... why would he let his daughter do that? You think she would ever forgive herself? You think he wants to see her do that to herself again?
Rankamateur 30th Nov 2014, 5:51 PM edit delete reply
There is another motive to think about as well, in that besides the personal torment she might face after having killed in her berserk form again, Koutack wouldn't want his daughter to also have to face the inquiry that would obviously follow for having murdered a fellow guest within Hotah's stronghold. Kinar came very close to being killed by druid guards the first time she attacked Serid in Moonglade, and history might very well repeat itself...with serious consequences.
Kira Vixen 3rd Dec 2014, 9:32 PM edit delete reply
look I'm just saying...I mean didn't most of Kinar's brothers and sisters and her mom died in Gilneas? and wasn't Serid one of the soldiers that was part of the Gilneas Invasion? this is a perfect opportunity to get rid of Serid. once Kinar kills Serid then Koutack will get Kinar under control. think of it as revenge. look I'm not saying you should get rid of Serid or anything...I'm just speaking my mind here. I mean that's the way I look at it.
Brian Core 7th Jan 2015, 4:08 PM edit delete reply
In a previous chapter page, back when they were in Outland Shadowmoon Valley prior to venturing to Icecrown, Serid wanted to volunteer however it would not seem he actually was not present despite wanting to go.

They are sharing a room with multiple other people, including other Horde members. The room will be filled with Cameo characters. This is one of them. We will be setting up a detailed Cast page for just the Cameo characters in a couple of weeks.

We did something in Jan where we had a few open slots to get a cameo in the comic. We also provide it to those who donate a generous portion more then the minimum every month. There are no more slots open right now though.

Somewhere , it's weird to see this worgen female ask about Kinar's glowing eyes . Normally , each worgen knows about the curse ; no ?
Amocin 29th Nov 2014, 11:40 PM edit delete reply
It is a strange thing to see a normal worgen go from cured to cursed all over again.
Akela 29th Nov 2014, 2:14 PM edit delete reply
What exactly DOES the whole "glowing eye thing" mean?
Rembrant 30th Nov 2014, 12:03 AM edit delete reply
Having read some explanations, I do so hope he does not get infected with the worgen curse. Also, dang it, Shai, try helping first instead of calling out to someone from the safety of your bed.

Koutack's reactions by the two things said one after another bring quite a bit of funny to the otherwise very serious situation going on. Also glad to see other people around to showcase they're staying in a place with a bunch of other folks.
Rashiek 30th Nov 2014, 2:34 AM edit delete reply
this is so awesome can not wait for the next one, but who asked "why are her eyes glowing?" It look like Kinar, but it cant be cuz she is attacking Serid, is it not Amo cuz she just escaped with Kaitrin

glowing eyes? that was part of the curse? I thought all dark knights did that when they use their powers. Did they explain why the eyes glowed in some previous page or is this something everyone should in WoW?
