Before anybody asks, no he did not eat the guy.
Drogan threw up his hands and walked away.. Cause... how do you respond to that?

When Drogan was first introduced I didn't care for him. But I'm growing to like him and feel for him more and more. Personally I probably would have eaten the guy.

Wasn't there an adult scene like...13 or so pages ago?
I doubt one will happen soon.
Guesticus 30th Nov 2015, 7:10 AM edit delete reply
Who says Drogan didn't? o_O
Amocin 30th Nov 2015, 8:27 AM edit delete reply
I did, in the comments up above.

In the fourth part drogan looks kind of sad or torn up. I feel for him.
cow 30th Nov 2015, 7:16 AM edit delete reply
poor drogan...how about getting on Amo's lap and let her pat you for a while ?

I know you wanted
viverred 30th Nov 2015, 8:02 AM edit delete reply
is it just me, or has Amo had a subtle shift of personality? My impression is, as a DK she wouldn't have apologized. rather, she would have come back with some equally offensive platitude?
Amocin 30th Nov 2015, 8:23 AM edit delete reply
She would have stopped him at the line about a saddle and responded that it was "kinky."
Dargon 30th Nov 2015, 10:34 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, that's what I was expecting.....
viverred 1st Dec 2015, 7:12 AM edit delete reply
something like that, yeah.
TracerFox 1st Dec 2015, 1:34 PM edit delete reply
I was more expecting something like: "Hey, you didn't have a problem with *me* riding you!"
Considering the whole scene back in the caves.
Kale 3rd Dec 2015, 10:52 AM edit delete reply
I give Amo the credit to hold comments like that when she knows it might make matters a bit worse then they are. plus she hadn't exactly expected to be accidently right about Drogan.
Guest 30th Nov 2015, 8:54 AM edit delete reply
This puts all the work I did for Wyrmrest into another perspective. Then again, I was always honored to work with dragons.
IronScale 30th Nov 2015, 10:32 AM edit delete reply
As a vet with bad PTSD myself, I sympathize so hard with Drogan right now.

I have minor PTSD from a car accident, which pails in comparison to what you must feel. Thank you for all that you have done.

Me as well brother. Most days im ok, but others, not so much. What pisses me off most is the idiots that try to accuse me of stolen valor.
DSL 1st Dec 2015, 11:04 PM edit delete reply
Thank you for your service and sacrifice. I hope plenty of people thank for all you have done. You are the best!

ive never noticed that in ironforge. i guess thats why he chose to go with tauren for his humanoid form. cool page and looks like im amending one of my toons backstory.
Rembrant 30th Nov 2015, 11:33 AM edit delete reply
Wow indeed. Talk about insensitive people, yet with Drogan's facial expressions as he talks about it, he does make it sound hilarious in a way.
Redmoonwatcher 30th Nov 2015, 12:40 PM edit delete reply
I'd say he's using sarcasm to try and make it seem less of a big deal actually.
viverred 2nd Dec 2015, 5:13 PM edit delete reply
sarcasm makes most things better, not all though.
danthehordeman 30th Nov 2015, 12:38 PM edit delete reply

In Amo, Drogan has more than just a sympathetic ear; he has someone that has been there, in terms of horrifying memories of enslavement.

Can you imagine what it was like for members of the red dragon flight...champions of life itself...to be forced into the role of wartime mount? To witness, or even take part in, the slaughter of countless humans and dwarves?

In the same vein, Death Knights (like Amo) were formerly champions that died in battle against the undead scourge, only to be forcibly reanimated by the Lichking to serve as shock troops against the living. To be controlled (enslaved) and used to slay civilians for the purpose of instilling fear...and then to later regain your freedom of thought, and also remember everything you did as his unwilling soldier...must be just as horrendous a thing to deal with.
Kira Vixen 30th Nov 2015, 2:06 PM edit delete reply
I've heard worse.
3D 30th Nov 2015, 2:20 PM edit delete reply
Drogan is ... venting? Wow. Wasn't expecting that.
I'm so used to Drogan being a solid iron wall of selfless badassery that this is quite the insight into the character. Amo really does have a way of working her hands (claws? paws?) into other's hearts.
Maw Vakessm 30th Nov 2015, 4:52 PM edit delete reply
Drogan and I face similar discrepancies regarding Species Racism As being a (Forgotten the wolf people's name XD) iv been to many towns where im chased out just because im not Human,Cow, Orc ect..... it pisses me off slightly -_-

But the feels in this
Kulkum 30th Nov 2015, 7:06 PM edit delete reply
To be fair... Amo rode him and he didn't seem to have a problem. Though she wasn't on his back... >.>
Flashlion 1st Dec 2015, 1:01 PM edit delete reply
I would offer him a hug instead of asking to ride him. Such a handsome character in both forms.
Bally 2nd Dec 2015, 7:17 AM edit delete reply
Wait when we're drogons people enslaved? (Forgive my ignorance I haven't played wow in some time)
Amocin 2nd Dec 2015, 9:00 AM edit delete reply
It happened during the Second War.
Kexor 28th Dec 2015, 3:16 AM edit delete reply
Aye, the Horde captured Alextrazsa and all the dragon eggs and forced the Red Dragon Flight to fight for them against the Alliance, if memory serves.

Even if they were not especially physically abusive to the dragons they rode, having the threat of your family and children being murdered if you don't follow orders is going to have some serious trauma.
Drakkenfyre 2nd Dec 2015, 8:40 AM edit delete reply
I know it wasn't likely the specific thing, but this feels like commentary against the idiots who say the same thing about 9/11. I've seen that for several years, and that exact phrase, more or less.

"It happened so long ago, get over it, who cares?"

I normally imagine the person making the remark is some kid who wasn't even alive at the time, or if they were, were too young to understand the significance of that event.
viverred 3rd Dec 2015, 7:08 AM edit delete reply
in my experience, i've known adults as well as kids who say things like that a week after the event.
Jiala 3rd Dec 2015, 11:31 PM edit delete reply
Amo seems to be having a case of foot in mouth disease to go with her revival.
Dretta 4th Dec 2015, 7:55 PM edit delete reply
Horrible flashbacks when being ridden?
Didn't seem all that upset or in trauma back in that cave!
Longtail 5th Dec 2015, 12:45 AM edit delete reply
Boy, can I sympathise. My PTSD is from violence in my childhood, but I think no matter where ours comes from we can sympathize with people saying incredibly boneheaded things.
Gildor 6th Jan 2017, 1:10 PM edit delete reply
My wife was a black woman from Martinique, a french island.

Her ancestors were slaves. It was two hundred ago, but even after a so long time, slavery is a very sensitive subject in Martinique.

So I think I can understand Drogan here.
