January Sale!

Just like normal we're having a January Sale - as in you get these low prices during January ONLY. Here are the prices (the bundles include all pictures for that year):

2012: $ 30 USD
2013: $ 30 USD
2014: $ 40 USD
2015: $ 50 USD
ALL: $ 150 USD

All you have to do is donate via the normal paypal means and then email me what bundle you want. You need to email me for any of these bundles, I'm not going to assume anything.

During January I'm going to be releasing a limited number of bookmarks of Kinar. They are NOT adult themed. I'll have an image to upload when I'm done. Here is how it's going to work - this will be limited to Patreon supports and there will be a new tier with a limited number. At the end of the month, when the payments have processed, I will send out all the bookmarks in standard envelopes.

January will be a test run. If I get rid of all / most of the bookmarks I'll do one each month for the entirety of 2016, each month featuring a different character from the Druids Cast. If there is tremendous demand, then I will up the quantity, though I'm setting it pretty high as it is for now. They will ONLY be available during this monthly support, I will not be retaining any additional quantity to sell later, sorry. So get them while you can! Also, they will ONLY be available through Patreon (unless people complain enough).

I don't know why, but i really love how Serid looks in the last panel :3
Rembrant 18th Jan 2016, 3:05 AM edit delete reply
Love how innocent and inconspicuous Serid tries to look here with Koutack around. Overall, I just enjoy the interactions and chemistry between the characters, it's all just natural and flows smoothly.

Yeah he's like, "Don't mind me I'll just stand here and be quiet".
Vankov 18th Jan 2016, 4:35 AM edit delete reply
Another good page. :) I am curious as to why Serid has that look on his face, and what he may be thinking however.

Anyway, I'm sorry if I'm a bother but with Koutack's eye on panels 4 and 5 seem to be missing the pupil, I'm not sure wether this was a minor thing that was easier to not add, or if it's there and I can't see it because the colour of his eye is dark so it blends with it.

Either way I'm sorry if it's a bother, I just can't find it in his eye and it's kinda… creepy almost. To me at least. Great comic though, helps me get through a long day when I'm bored. :D
Amocin 18th Jan 2016, 5:00 AM edit delete reply
His pupil is there, but the red is just a bit darker than it usually is, which is why it may be harder to notice.
Aetheos 18th Jan 2016, 6:45 AM edit delete reply
Zoom in its at the corner of his eye on each page

LOL!! I so love that innocent look on saried!! (I think I spelled it right....if not, sorry.)
But I just Love it! It adds to the overall "Human" factor.

I just love how gruff koutak is about inquiring about where kinair is, none of the cow's business that's where she is! I love how this comics story is turning out, keep up the good work!

this is the kinda of Dad we all wish we had.
Kira Vixen 18th Jan 2016, 9:49 AM edit delete reply
no your just a grouchy old man who hates Serid because of who he is. >_>
Rankamateur 18th Jan 2016, 3:42 PM edit delete reply
...that is overly protective of his daughter, as all true fathers ought to be. It's hard to fault someone for that, grumpy or not. I enjoy his personality in particular, because it mirrors how I envision my Worgen hunter to be; a curmudgeonly exterior, borne of long and bitter experience, that houses an indelible devotion to those she cares about.
Kira Vixen 18th Jan 2016, 11:01 PM edit delete reply
yeah. he sure cares about them. he doesn't help them. all he does is moan and brood about his dead wife and kids. not helping Kinar with her problem. >_<
Amocin 18th Jan 2016, 11:58 PM edit delete reply
For a moment you had me worried that I couldnt remember what I have drawn/written.. But after reviewing all the pages again, I can honestly say that there is nothing in the comic that supports that particular claim.

Also Koutack has spoken a few times about Kinar's tragedy, and protected her from her past as much as a Warrior can, knowing nothing about magic.. And has not once brought up his wife, or the children he has lost.
Windwalker 20th Jan 2016, 4:02 AM edit delete reply
I don't remember him ever complaining about those he lost either. I'm not sure where this belief that Koutack is lost in the past and unwilling to help his daughter is coming from... As a Warrior he doesn't have much to do with all that fancy magic and spirit stuff, and Kinar's problems are definitely located in the more mystical parts of life. And beyond that he isn't a trained psychiatrist either.

From what we've seen in flashbacks so far Koutack tries, but he doesn't know enough about magic to help her himself, he can't fix her mental wounds himself, while she is important he also has other things occupying his attention (rare is the person whose life isn't busy), he's afraid of what would happen if he gave her to the Circle (more specifically he doesn't want to lose her), and Kinar is an adult, so he can't be looking over her shoulder all the time.

Koutack is trying, but the problems his daughter is facing are ones which are quite likely just outside of his scope of what he can deal with.

On a completely unrelated note, I see the arms are swinging now. Looking good!

In regards to him hating Serid for who he is, Azeroth is a world in which the most numerous and organized intelligent lifeforms have split up into two factions which are permanently at war with each other. Disliking members of the opposite faction is part of life because every single one of them can be an enemy or is an enemy. Most of the people who aren't part of this war between the Horde and the Alliance, and the hatred for the opposing faction that comes with it, are independent groups like the Cenarion Circle, which are rare and rather small.

Beyond that Koutack saw his home get destroyed by the Horde, had family and friends die in the process, and then Serid admitted that he had volunteered to join the attack because back then he was very firmly anti-Alliance.

A grizzled veteran soldier living in a world where hatred is completely normal, meeting a person who volunteered to be part of the expedition which had as objective stealing his homeland, killing many in the process...

It would be nothing short of miraculous if Koutack didn't hate Serid to some extent. So far he's already been very tolerant, acting distant but at least cooperating for the sake of the mission. I'm inclined to applaud him for his ability to not let personal issues get in the way of the actual job.

"Pink haired cow" yeah that's probably how I'd describe Sicha, and not because she's a tauren heh.
A.G.Wicked 19th Jan 2016, 7:45 AM edit delete reply
I'm really starting to dislike the ugly pink cow that Koutack mentioned just then.

Do you think Kinar will ever know the truth about what her father did to her?
Lightna 19th Jan 2016, 4:41 PM edit delete reply
*Slooooooooow eyebrow raise* What the heck is pinky trying to do?
Viverred 19th Jan 2016, 9:25 PM edit delete reply

so, when is this happening? is it still cataclysm, or is it in between cata and mop?
OR is is a alternate time line?
Amocin 20th Jan 2016, 6:27 AM edit delete reply
After cata, not on an alternate timeline.

Late comment is the best comment!
So now it's a race between Shai/Serid and Sicha to get to Kinar first. Gonna be interesting at the least.
Rasminar 22nd Jan 2016, 8:21 AM edit delete reply
Even more interesting if Kinar pushes the finish line further hehehe.
Panther 22nd Jan 2016, 8:08 AM edit delete reply
It seems that Koutack doesn't really enjoys taurens ............. Why this ?

Then , i feel sad for Sicha somewhere : fall in love with the wrong tauren . Urgh
They have to deal with her quickly before her jealousy makes her a threat for anyone , adding more to the actual problems
Veriea 23rd Jan 2016, 8:17 AM edit delete reply
Sorry, just had to respond to that part of the comment, for some reason it really bugs me, even if it's probably more of a throw-away comment by the original poster.
There is no way in heck that Sicha could be said to 'love' Serid - at best, she is in lust with him. He's seems to be so far possibly the only unattached male tauren we've seen at the outpost (there was that one she was playing cards with but we haven't seen any others yet) so it's like she's claimed him on that basis alone, with no input from him what so ever. She saw him and immediately latched on, hanging all over him and doing a pretty good imitation of flirty big cat in heat. There is absolutely no love there.
She is simply used to getting what she wants.
Kulavak 24th Jan 2016, 12:50 AM edit delete reply
I'd also point out that Sicha has - at least from her point of view - been very publicly rejected for a female who is from the faction they are at war with. Add in the fact that Kinar might very well not be fully cured of the worgen curse, and I think Sicha feels justified in her feelings and she can use Kinar going off the deep end as justification. We also don't know how she really feels post-revelation about Serid other than her soapbox moment of disapproval at the time of revelation. I suspect - given her comments to Hotah, and that she was just looking for Kinar - that she is going to try to prove Kinar to be a danger to everyone via what could be construed as traitorous behavior, perhaps hoping for some kind of approval from Serid. At the very least looking for justification for herself that she can hide her jealousy behind. Sicha never loved Serid - but she is going to try to save face in any way she can at this point.

Technically Kaitrin's unattached as well, though he was busy sneaking into the enemy camp at the time and he's not as cute.
Kulavak 25th Jan 2016, 12:26 PM edit delete reply
Kaitrin is also cute as a button.
