My characters do and say stupid things, cause that's what normal people do.. Sometimes they even realize what they are doing is stupid.

Sorry, you guys get to see the after effects of Koutacks comments later.. Gotta keep you wondering.

I should have the sample out of Amo/Shai tomorrow... I am so sorry it's coming the day before its sent out.. I will try to arrange my schedule better where it can get done faster.

It may seem stupid at the moment, but sometimes it has to be done. Figure the 'how' out on the fly, pun not intended :P

Ahhhh.......I Love the suspense!!
Though I don't think your characters say or do stupid things......I prefer to look at it as "Relatable" situations. ;p

Oh I just Love Anders response! Though I think I might need a translation.....As I'm not sure what "? Skull !" Means......but it is Fun looking!

Wow, it's been so long since we've seen Kinar for the last time, that I forgot that she was sneaking out.
Guest 29th Feb 2016, 6:55 AM edit delete reply
So she's flying out to Mordin's base?
DSquad 29th Feb 2016, 7:51 AM edit delete reply
I like that you extended the wings along the body unlike what the game does where it ends just behind the wing joints. Keeps the body up instead of dangling like it actually would if they were build with wings like in the game. Though you may have put her a bit too far back in her seat as usually the rider's legs are in front of the wing joints.

KitsuneKage 29th Feb 2016, 7:35 PM edit delete reply
If she is trying to sneak out and see Mordin, she'll either try to get him back, or simply steal her son back from him if he decides to stay with the crazy train... then again, he's the leader of the crazy train, so getting him to change his mind might be out of the question...

Still wish we knew why Anders doesn't talk to kinar....seems awfully foreshadowy to me

Poor Kinar her emotions must be all over the place...
Guest 1st Mar 2016, 12:00 PM edit delete reply
Amocin, can you tell us what did the dragon said?
Amocin 1st Mar 2016, 12:43 PM edit delete reply
Amocin
He just made audible grumbles, its not a secret language that only Kinar knows. Think of the sounds you would associate with each of those symbols.
Guest 1st Mar 2016, 3:28 PM edit delete reply
OK?, I think I got this. The ? mean "what". The skull symbol means that Kinar decided to go to the Deathknight. The fire symbol means that the dragon want to go back so that he won't have to go thought a firefight. Is that it?
Amocin 1st Mar 2016, 6:27 PM edit delete reply
Amocin
More like "What? This will end in death and disaster."
Redmoonwatcher 1st Mar 2016, 5:09 PM edit delete reply
That's what I was going to ask. Would be weird for Anders to not talk only to have a secret language he uses to talk to Kinar.
BloodshedSabre 2nd Mar 2016, 7:53 AM edit delete reply
BloodshedSabre
I remember Anders having the whole 'I don't know how to speak' thing going on with everybody apart from Amo, was it not revealed that Kinar knew as well?
The questions! I need to know!
Dargon 2nd Mar 2016, 2:58 PM edit delete reply
Dargon
Now that's what I was thinking.......
Though sometimes writers do like to slip in unknown language's to throw the reader off......
BloodshedSabre 2nd Mar 2016, 9:43 PM edit delete reply
BloodshedSabre
Sometimes...
I assume Kinar does know though. Anders IS talking to her, like...right now. :D
Amocin 2nd Mar 2016, 10:10 PM edit delete reply
Amocin
He is making noise, yes, but making noise is different than talking. A cat can meow but it cant form words, and thats exactly what everybody believes is going on with Anders, that his voice just didnt develop properly.
BloodshedSabre 2nd Mar 2016, 11:08 PM edit delete reply
BloodshedSabre
Ahh but she can still understand what he is saying at a baseline level and I happen to count that as talking.
Would that be talking? I don't know...
I can scream at someone and they can take the communication as rage or anger, this is still conveying information, no?
Amocin 2nd Mar 2016, 11:14 PM edit delete reply
Amocin
I think it would be more like how I know what my five month old is saying to me. I can tell what his different whines and cries are.. I can tell the difference between a tired cry, which has a much different sound than a hunger cry.

This is the same as grunting in frustration or growling in anger.. She can tell his different moods.
Dargon 3rd Mar 2016, 7:57 AM edit delete reply
Dargon
Agreed. Much like talking with my dog, he can not form words but buy his audible sounds, looks and jestuers I can understand what he is trying to convey.

It's really neat when you think about it.:)
BloodshedSabre 4th Mar 2016, 11:48 AM edit delete reply
BloodshedSabre
Well, if we think about it we can say that human language is just a complex set of sounds that make up words, this means that Anders making noises as baseline communication can technically be counted as a very simplistic language and this means that he is talking and therefore that would mean that just about anything that is sentient and is capable of putting emotion into noise can 'talk'...technically. (Maybe?)
I agree Dargon, pretty awesome thoughts!
Dargon 6th Mar 2016, 10:30 AM edit delete reply
Dargon
Very true, Bloodshedsaber.
Indeed this is how I view the world. Animals other than humans who are capable of making sounds driven by emotion are indeed speaking, only in a language that we can not understand since we are of a different species. However, just as we can communicate with someone who speaks a different language through our jestures, so can they communicate with us through that same combination of their known speech and jestures.
As for our language being more complex.....Perhaps, but That is debatable since we do not Fully understand theirs.
Viverred 5th Mar 2016, 11:33 AM edit delete reply
i have so had 'conversations' with my dog. he is quite well spoken despite not having a 'language'.
shadowolf12000 1st Mar 2016, 2:47 PM edit delete reply
its even funny when we the reader know he can actualy speek. and that will be a shok to her later
Voldemort 1st Mar 2016, 2:59 PM edit delete reply
Amocin is the wintergarde base the same base in your comic?
I dont know if you know this but there is a staff that was made from one of the life trees and was gifted to mortal druids. Staff grant's the druid who's wilding the staff great healing power. As much as I know the staff was used to stop the nightmare from spreading. Someone left the staff in the dream/nightmare I think.
Maybe someone could tell kinar about the staff and yeah. If you will use this then maybe kinar would tell that to drogan or maybe she would try to get in the nightmare by her selfe and would try to get the staff by her selfe.
By the way good job with your comic. So far I love it.

Seriously? do you people even use your brain to think for two seconds and realize how rude/inappropriate this sounds? Amo will put in adult scenes when she deems them necessary to advance the story.
Dargon 2nd Mar 2016, 2:55 PM edit delete reply
Dargon
Good point, Bravo!

It appears people are thinking with the Wrong head most of the time......
Aestral 2nd Mar 2016, 8:33 PM edit delete reply
The exact reason why people, including me, have been loving and following this comic for such a long time, is that Amo doesn't mindlessly slap an adult scene in every possible place, but she merges them with the actual story perfectly that they don't seem forced and out of place. I thought that this comic was up for long enough, so that people realized that this is not a "quick fap" comic, but something you have to read from A to Z and get into the story, but i suppose there will always be special snowflakes like you.
Redmoonwatcher 2nd Mar 2016, 7:36 PM edit delete reply
Also I just noticed... Anders' wings are completely different then they were drawn previously... a mistake? Intended change?
Amocin 2nd Mar 2016, 7:47 PM edit delete reply
Amocin
Intended change. While its nice to use elements of WoW, they do have some 'lazy' errors as I would like to call them.. or things that dont make sense.. While I was okay with them for awhile... they just seem wrong. So the change is keeping them similar to how they are in WoW, but more reasonable and useable for flight.
Redmoonwatcher 3rd Mar 2016, 4:16 PM edit delete reply
Yeah I can agree with that. It always struck me has a bit off how nether drakes had a tail that reminded me of a shark and a different shaped head... then just looked like a normal dragon as an adult. Albeit uniquely colored and all ghostly... I chalk that up totally to being lazy... and saddening. Nether Dragons coulda been sooooo cool! They were pretty awesome in WC3 with their dark and unique for the time model.

It's not like those kind of wings haven't been seen before in WoW, Malygos and Kalecgos both had their wing membranes travel down their tails.
Amocin 3rd Mar 2016, 5:01 PM edit delete reply
Amocin
It may be that the reason those two dragons have 'proper' wings is because they are/were aspect dragons. Alexstraza and Ysera looked much different, if I remember correctly. Their looks were updated as they became more central to the story.
Redmoonwatcher 6th Mar 2016, 5:36 AM edit delete reply
Well, I think the wings are more of a genetic trait that can pop up since Nozdormu, Deathwing, and Alexstraza don't have it. In fact... Ysera is the only one to have wings like what you have drawn here for Anders... Ander's heritage confirmed! *flails about*

I'm kidding of course, all in all it's nice that Anders no longer looks like every single other nether drake ever. Since that's just not how it would really work. If I could I'd make Blizzard make a real nether dragon model, because that is still such a huge missed opportunity.

I love this artist's artwork it sounds so real like an everyday conversation just in another time or something I don't know... It has comedy and drama with that erotica feeling in those parts but it feels much more than that it really is a good comic I will keep on reading this comic and waiting for more to come. If I had enough Money everyday I would defiantly donate but I don't sorry...

hey Amo, like the new page.
also had an odd question, dont know why it popped in my head.
dont answer if you dont want to, but just wondering if you get turned on by your own art sometimes?
Amocin 5th Mar 2016, 8:58 AM edit delete reply

No, I do not. I worry about getting everything looking right, posing, and what have you.. So really, its just another page to me, and is no different than something clean.

Good point.

Ahhh.....the life of an artist......always focused on how something turns out Far more than what the subject matter may be.
Guest 6th Mar 2016, 2:58 AM edit delete reply
Question here. Maybe you have answered this question before but i wonder how did your characters get theirs class?? Is it something they are born with or they choose theirs class later in life? Genetics maybe?
Amocin 6th Mar 2016, 11:34 AM edit delete reply
Amocin
It is a bit of both. Obviously somebody who has shown talent in magic will train in a class that uses magic.. People who dont have magical skills may attempt to learn them, but are more likely to try a non-magic using class.

In the end it is their own decision, but they will lean towards what they fancy and what they feel they will be good at.
