So he still has some heart?

And a valid point...
Aetheos 18th Apr 2016, 7:07 PM edit delete reply
Only as much as you can expect from a death knight.
Guest 19th Apr 2016, 7:08 PM edit delete reply
In terms of a valid point, surely.
Project Null 19th Apr 2016, 10:58 PM edit delete reply
Well to be fair it was more the Forsaken, getting back up from the Orcs, considering the way things went down with Garrosh and the Tauren and Trolls and goblins.

And pretty sure Gilneas was the one conquest the Argent Dawn was not going to help Sylvanus "Claim" for the rightfully owners of the land.

Consider for a moment that you are only seeing things from his perspective. It was a foothold that the Horde wanted, and as far as he is concerned, it was the Horde who did it.. Not just singling out the undead, or just the races that he saw.. They are all on the same team.

Panel 1 aughhhh the feels T.T the original Denor is still in there somewhere under the surface...
Anonymous 18th Apr 2016, 5:34 AM edit delete reply
Sylvarnis used the plague bombs despite the decrees against it... so Garrosh did nothing wrong :P
DtDoom 18th Apr 2016, 8:26 AM edit delete reply
Aside from allowing the invasion in the first place, and doing nothing about her using the plague bombs in the aftermath.
Aetheos 18th Apr 2016, 7:09 PM edit delete reply
Orc troops still attacked gilneas bruh.
Anonymous 19th Apr 2016, 3:27 PM edit delete reply
That is true so is Garrosh ordering the invasion. I just wanted to say Garrosh did nothing worng... Also FOR THE HORDE

wow this is a shock he still cares for her maybe she can actually stop him from this insane crap he's trying to do if he truly loves her
Guest 18th Apr 2016, 5:56 AM edit delete reply
I knew he still loved her. . . And I has a right to be mad but there has to be another way . . x

I love how each character has depths behind them. even potential bad guys have a chance to have grand character development moments in this comic and always eager to see the next page on the following Monday.

A worgen committed to his convictions.

The first panel just melted my heart. I mean, his wife is right there and hugging him and I sense there is nothing more he'd like to do more than to return that affection and just cast off the mantle but his underlings are watching so he has to "stay strong" in front of them. Second panel right there, that I feel, shows that he didn't want to push her away from the hug but as said he had to stay strong. Kinar trying her damnedest to persuade him and mention home making it that much harder but the Horde's invasion of Gilneas and the anger of being taken away from his wife and home gives him the cover he needs to push back without breaking down.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this. 10 at night and nothing else to do except go to sleep. Lol

If Serid hadn't been crushed before, he is surely smashed now.
Aetheos 18th Apr 2016, 7:08 PM edit delete reply
he's in the back of Kinar's coat now.

Question, in the game the worgen race is able to shift between human and worgen, can these worgen still do that or does that not happen for the comic?
Randompaw 18th Apr 2016, 9:45 PM edit delete reply
I think since this is a furry comic probably not. OR another reason, just a theory. In the game worgens transform with a flash and a poof and BAM Human/Worgen. The actual act of shifting shape has to be VERY painful if we wanted to add some reality to it. Worgen are taller, leaner, heavier boned. To go human would be to shrink down, so imagine your body twisting back into a smaller shape, shrinking, muscles and limbs reshaping, BONES reshaping, to take on a human form. The same has to be said for going human to worgen. Worgen can't stay in human form when they get excited/threatened whatever. I'd assume shapeshifting instantaneously would leave them very vulnerable from being disortiented and possibly passed out from a sudden and unbidden transformation. In conclusion: It's easier and safer to stay in their semi-permanent cursed shapes.

It is a tricky thing to consider, if it is something that is easy to go back and forth from.. I think they can do it with ease so long as there is practice.. Remember that Wolverine feels pain every time he uses his claws, because its breaking threw the skin.. However he has done it so often that he has built up a pain tolerance to it..

Druids may have an easier time shifting in and out of different forms because they are accustomed to it, and all the pain that may be involved in it. DKs may also have a higher threshold for pain and can do so more easily than others.

However the human form is no longer their 'natural' body, as it has already been stated, they shift from human to worgen when entering combat, so its safe to assume that any stress would end the human form quickly and involuntarily. If you also pay attention to foot prints in game, a Worgen in human form does not leave behind human footprints in the sand/dirt/whatever, its always pawprints, no matter what form they take... So many may not see the point in taking on a form that is no longer their 'natural' state, save for a rare few who are likely in denial of what they are.

Ah alright. That actually makes a lot of sense to me. Its something Ive been curious on for a while with WoW characters

Man, I found this comic randomly about a year ago, and now I always come back ASAP to check the update.
Anyhow, Denor still exists, somewhere. I wonder if he knows that his son is in the Emerald Dream?

Kinar :"- Denor ?"
Mordin :"- I don't go by that name anymore"

Dark Vador :"- You've accepted the truth ?"
Luke :"- I've accepted the truth that you've been Anakin Skywalker"
Dark Vador :"- This name means nothing for me now"

Coincidence ? ^_^"

Always seen PG sites for Star-wars ; and he was called "dark Vador" or "darth Vader" ............. Then , no ; i'll don't ask how you know it ^_^"

But i was asking about the coincidence between Mordin and Vador(Vader) "rejecting" their real name
Kexor 22nd Apr 2016, 8:52 AM edit delete reply
It's a relatively common trope, significant of a person leaving their old life behind. It does foten come up in a sort of fall to the dark side way, though can also be done in almost any life changing event such as having your entire species wiped out or being left for dead by someone you though was your friend.

Kinar...you have to understand...he's not Denor anymore. ever since the Horde destroyed Gilneas his views on everyone working equally faded. whoever he was...he's gone. and he's never coming back. I've seen it happen before...

GO back one page it is stated in the first post that Serid has shifted around to the back of her coat.
patient99 18th Apr 2016, 10:50 PM edit delete reply
It seems like he kind of wishes he could let himself go back.
Koryn 19th Apr 2016, 6:21 AM edit delete reply
Just so people know, it wasn't the horde that destroyed Gilneas. Sylveanas may be considered "part" of the horde. But her and the forsaken are basically a neutral party, in that they have their own agenda or at least Sylvanas does. After all she is friends with Magitha grimtotem. But literally the Forsaken that attack Gilneas and caused the deaths there. Along with the human mage who summoned the worgens.

But anyways just pointing out that fact, but I'm glad to see Amo is doing character viewpoint. ^^ Also this comic is awesome.

Rankamateur 20th Apr 2016, 3:34 PM edit delete reply
This is simply not true. Sylvanus and her Forsaken troops invaded at the express bidding of the Horde's Warchief (Garrosh) to take Gilneas for its strategic location. While it's true that she is constantly forwarding her own agenda at any given opportunity, their presence in Gilneas was directed by Warchief Hellscream, and supported with Orc troops on the field...particularly near the end of the first wave, when the Gilneans were about to evacuate. In fact, it was a Horde airship crewed by goblins and orcs that blocked their escape through the harbor.
Kexor 22nd Apr 2016, 9:06 AM edit delete reply
I need to admit I got a little sick of the horde leadership always being the one with corruption in the leadership. Though looking back, the Alliance has had at least some occasional trouble with that.

Fandral Staghlem- though my compliant is that it's so damn obvious that he is evil even from the first game. An elitist racist Night Elf who just happened to take over the Druids after his boss gets 'mysterious' caught in the Emerald Dream? Really? No one saw this coming?

Thermaplugg- flooded Gnomeregan with radiation and became the big boss there.

Katrana Prestor- aka Onyxia. Enough said there.

Those are all the ones i can think of with some actual thought running through it. Meanwhile I think the Horde easily doubles on bad leaders throughout the expansions.

I admit, I never played up to this expansion, but my understanding was that during the First War, the Gilnean's walled themselves up and basically decided to let the rest of humanity fend for themselves. They chose and maintained isolation, putting themselves above the rest of humanity even after the Orcs had been quelled.

Then this curse hits them and suddenly they need the Alliance's help. I am sure there are nuances I am missing but I sort of hope that one Alliance officer quoted a very angry Star Fleet captain when the Kilngon's needed his help.
