lol the whole 'hold this' with that guy was funny, of course I imagine she would be the only one to do that and get away with it. But this is sounding like she needs to cure her son and get him away from that father of theirs.

so will you do another sex sequence in the month of august its been half a year with out one. Also me and my ex used to compare ourselves to serid and kinar... The fact we broke up around the time you posted kinar meeting moridin was surreal... Because she went back to her old bf lance right after she left me...
Ashla 20th Jun 2016, 11:54 AM edit delete reply
Amo's made it clear that it clear that this is a story with graphic sex as a component and not a porno with a lose plot.

Sex will happen eventually I'm sure but It'll happen when it's conducive to the plot.

I would hope not but you never know what might happen with Mordin right?
Guest 20th Jun 2016, 6:14 AM edit delete reply
I can't believe this. I mean I at least partly understood where Mordin was coming from, but HOW COULD HE DO THIS YO HIS OWN SON!!!??? It's just so messed up in so many ways, an innocent child! Just insane!
Silegna 20th Jun 2016, 8:02 AM edit delete reply
He can do this, because to him, his son is nothing more than a means to an end.
Guest 23rd Jun 2016, 10:31 AM edit delete reply
Allow me to disagree with a different scenario.

Picture if you will, a kingdom with a dragon problem. To appease the dragon, every year the youth of the kingdom draws lots. Whoever draws the bad lot is tied to an altar and sacrificed to the dragon.

Now let's look at two kings for this kingdom. The first king's daughter draws the bad lot, and is sacrificed. The second king's daughter also draws the bad lot, but the king demands a do-over because he will not suffer his daughter to die like that.

Who is eviler? The king who played by the rules of this terrible practice and sacrificed his child, or the one who insisted that somebody else make the sacrifice in place of his child?

I would argue that while it could be argued that the latter loved his daughter more (or at least more obviously), he also committed the greater evil by excluding those he cared for from what he apparently considered a necessary evil. It's hypocrisy in the form of nepotism.

So too is it here. Is it cold and cruel for Mordin to keep his kid feral? Absolutely. But it also arguably gives him the moral highground as he is not playing favorites with his methods.
Crowwolf 24th Jun 2016, 1:49 PM edit delete reply
As much as I do agree with this statement, and I agree the one who's more evil is the one who would not allow his daughter to be sacrificed, but this isn't a sacrifice. He's allowing his son to remain like this. While sure he's not playing faviortes lets say he does win. What then? Does he just allow everyone else to regain themselves except his son? And I say this because what happens when his son becomes enlightened of what he's done? Correct me if I'm wrong but some worgen retain what happened while they were feral. Or the fact he'd probably hear it from someone of what he's done, he'll want revenge. I know I would if I found out for many years I was no more than a puppet. I'd want to see his little "society" burned to the ground. And I'd do everything in my power to see it happen. Granted he's a death knight. They have no soul.
Guest 26th Jun 2016, 5:48 PM edit delete reply
Presumably, his end game would involve the ferals becoming...well, not feral anymore. Ferals are required to transfer the curse, however.

The generous interpretation of Mordin and his choice to leave his son feral gives him a lot of overlap with the Operative in the film Serenity. The relevant quote there being "Malcolm, I'm a MONSTER. What I do is evil. I have no illusions about it, but it must be done."

The point I was trying to make was that Mordin's methods necessitate evil through keeping feral worgens to infect others with the curse. Either he lacks the resources to cure the feral state, or he has it and refuses to administer it. In the case of the former, leaving his son feral is a moot point, because regardless of desire, he can't cure the boy. In the case of the latter, his refusal is by necessity terrible. Playing favorites with his kin, however, would be a tacit admission that his methods are only acceptable so long as they don't impact those he cares about.

Indeed, presuming that he does indeed care about his son, it's possible that he could even see this as a kind of self-flagellation, tying him more directly to the cost of his plan. But that's a bit too speculative at present.

I suppose if I wanted to be succinct about it, my point was that there are explanations outside of "he doesn't care about his son" for why he allowed the kid to remain feral.

Kinar: Hold my birb!

At least Serid looks happy about the beating Kinar's about to give her ex. Or he's doing that "adorably creepy" smile an animal will make before it claws your face.
Elosan 20th Jun 2016, 7:36 AM edit delete reply
You can tell Mordin saw that slap coming. Though from the looks of things, he deserves much more than slap to the face. Kinar has every right to be furious. He is using his own wife and son as pawns in this grand scheme!

Given his position, what COULD he do? Or what would anyone else be able to do? I doubt anyone that could raise someone as a death knight would have access to such a thing, and Mordin is in no position to get it. Basically, he's stuck.
Dreamfox 20th Jun 2016, 8:28 AM edit delete reply
The looks of Serid and Gath exchange are absolutely hilarious.

I might be interpreting things, but it does not look like Mordin is completely behind his words and did I hear a silent "...cursed him and killed me"?

Something is going on here that isn't immediately evident. If Drogan really does have more than one captive feral, it is no coincidence that he brought Kinar directly to her son first. He either wants her angry...which seems unlikely, considering the chaotic destructiveness of which she is capable in that state...or he wants to extort her help in exchange for Joric's freedom. Or perhaps, there is another unknown purpose behind inciting her ire...?

In any case, this gambit has destroyed any possibility that he could have acquired her willing cooperation, and shows that he knew he'd never have had it in the first place.
Guest 22nd Jun 2016, 11:36 AM edit delete reply
You meant Mordin and I totally agree. From what he pulled within the emerald dream (even though it meant that his son no longer has a place to rest), he not only wants but PLANNED on her going feral-perhaps even what he meant when he said he had other feralS (plural)-well--he does if he was counting HER as well as their son.

If I may suggest, maybe placing Serid's ear a bit off the beak would be an idea!
Lot of people seems to think the line of the ear is actually a smile, which totally changes the whole feel of the panel itself.
Just... just a suggestion :3

Amocin 20th Jun 2016, 5:02 PM edit delete reply
I would need a redline on that one, cause I cant see any way to place that ear. They are up more due to surprise, and I dont want them to block the eyes, that would be too high.
Nic 20th Jun 2016, 4:49 PM edit delete reply
Something ive always wondered, Amo, what do you imagine Kinar voice is like? Do you think of it like the ingame voices for worgen, or is there a famous person that has a voice like Kinars, or what?
Amocin 20th Jun 2016, 5:00 PM edit delete reply
I think her voice would be very much like Falicia Day.

neonpinkfeline 21st Jun 2016, 10:00 AM edit delete reply
Well Firstly, Ouch. Slapped with claws. that's gonna leave a mark.

Now that that is out of the way.

Hmm She has a fair and valid point. It he still cared for his own son, then He could have turned him by now. Assuming he was truthful about the "other feral" wargons. That aside, I have a distinct impression he isn't as involved with this as he presents. HE can put up a front as much as he likes. But the look on his face says too much. He is trying to distance himself from his actions. He is trying to get away from what he has done. IN his mind, it serves the greater good. But in his sub-conscious, he knows he has messed up big time.

I just realized... I can't help but wonder how Kinar realized that this worgen child is hers. She's only seen him in infant form, in a dream no less. I guess you could say he's got his mothers scowl?
Longtail 23rd Jun 2016, 8:12 PM edit delete reply
Moms know their kids when they see them even if they've been separated for years. She'd be able to recognize minute details and traits about him we'd miss visually even though he's grown up since she last saw him in reality, and there's a possibility she might even recognize his scent.
Demonwolf 23rd Jun 2016, 3:56 AM edit delete reply
I vote for Serid becomes a Worgen
Sharpy 24th Jun 2016, 5:01 AM edit delete reply
So wait, Kinar remembers her son and loves him, but remembers her husband whom she had the child with, and DOESN'T love him? Did Mordin do something to Kinar in the past to earn her disdain? I would think reuniting with your lost, presumed dead, loved one would cause a bit more... indecision in picking between a new lover and the old one. Kinar seems to have just waved her hello to Mordin with a forced smile and anchored herself in the arms of the new guy... who doesn't have the history, child, or share the same curse with her. Dang, there's moving on and then there's hopped-on-the-first-bus-outta-this-shit.
Old wolf 24th Jun 2016, 5:35 PM edit delete reply
Frankly, she's already mourned for Mordrin. She's spent the last few years thinking he was dead, only to find out he's been manipulating her, and now included her son in his games. That's a train to NOPEville right there.
And Mordrin's been busily shoveling the boiler full and building a full head of steam, and put his hat on the pressure relief valve. Something's going to give.
Crowwolf 24th Jun 2016, 1:41 PM edit delete reply
I didn't think about that. That the one "feral" is actually their own child. And the fact it's the only one shows how much Mordin really is evil, because of the fact it's his own son and instead of allowing his son to regain is sanity allows him to remain like this.
MomoChan 25th Jun 2016, 1:04 PM edit delete reply
Question Amo, is the full comic going to be released once the series is over?
Amocin 25th Jun 2016, 7:31 PM edit delete reply
Yes, we will make a print of all the pages and put it into one book once its all wrapped up.
Train Samurai 26th Jun 2016, 11:42 PM edit delete reply
Wow, all 2 or 300 pages. it gonna cost a lot of paper and color ink to do all pages, right?
Calydor 27th Jun 2016, 12:31 AM edit delete reply
I can't help but think Mordin is playing a bigger game than we're seeing.

Yes, it's his son. But he is also a means to an end; releasing him because it's his son could weaken his hold on power in this group of death knights.

Instead he brings Kinar here and 'forces' her to cause a scene and in all likelihood abduct the kid. Totally not Mordin's fault, no one can blame him.

It's a risky strategy but could work.
