......Define "Good Guy".....Just because he "Wants her Alive" does not necessarily mean it's for a Good Reason.

>~< i want him to be a good guy....cant i hope? Q~Q
ArticAkita 23rd Sep 2016, 12:17 AM edit delete reply
His want of her has nefarious intentions very unlike of romantic intentions of wanting her, as her brother mentioned "Her power is too powerful for her to control, after she met her future husband Denor (aka Mordin) who helped her control it."
Inqu 23rd Sep 2016, 4:02 PM edit delete reply
I know...but again i can hope right?
Rasminar 22nd Sep 2016, 4:18 PM edit delete reply
Chances are Mordin can not 1v1 a lich, so if he is a good guy all the sudden he can't just be like "im teh gud guy now lul" or he'll be deader than he already is.
Inqu 23rd Sep 2016, 4:03 PM edit delete reply
So maybe he's waiting for the right moment?
Rasminar 23rd Sep 2016, 5:21 PM edit delete reply
IF hes a good guy.

IMO if Mordin's role in the story is going to change in any way its from villain --> anti hero.

Either that or Mordin is meant to become a "fake opponent ally." A rather uncommon (but potentially powerful) tactic for storytelling.

I don't know about you guys, but I would love for Mordin to have a redemption storyline, but that's just me.

Chances are Mordin is just an evil SOB, though that would be a bit boring IMO. Imagine how interesting it would be if Mordin does something miraculous and redeeming, and then we get to see all the drama and conflict between him and Serid hahahaha.

What exactly did you do differently? It is noticeable, but not necessarily in a bad way.
Vel'Navyr 19th Sep 2016, 10:02 AM edit delete reply
there's no shading, it's all flat colors
Amocin 19th Sep 2016, 10:56 AM edit delete reply
It's only flat cause I havent finished it yet, hopefully I will get that out soon.
Rasminar 19th Sep 2016, 4:08 PM edit delete reply
Black lines seem much thinner compared to previous pages.
Rasminar 19th Sep 2016, 10:39 PM edit delete reply
Now that the shading is done I'm pretty indifferent about the newer style. I was originally a bit "ehh" about it but the shading makes everything better. Doesn't look bad one bit. All I can opine about this is to go for the style you're more comfortable dealing with, Amocin.
Shade 19th Sep 2016, 6:44 AM edit delete reply
Well. So much for a " Snap out of it and kill the lich" twist. But honestly I didn't see that happening just yet. I'm more curious to whether Joric can be treated to no longer be feral or if he's stayed that way too long.
Guest 19th Sep 2016, 8:49 AM edit delete reply
As far as I know, all Worgens can get the treatment regardless of how long they've been a Worgen, but this only applies to Gilneans. The original Worgens...they've been locked in the Emerald Dream for millennia. No word has been given on if they can be treated. It would be too problematic for the game to address, since it would mean them being able to be Night Elves. In Amo's verse here, it may be possible. Regardless, Joric can be treated, but I shudder of what will come from it. His mind will be bombarded by things he is not prepared for, since his mind is still a baby in the Emerald Dream.
Guest 19th Sep 2016, 10:52 PM edit delete reply
...thats...a bit of a debate, actually. According to in-game quests and lore from both the Comic, Curse of the Worgen as well as in-game text, a few things: First, the kaldorei worgen dont need a cure to not be mindless--they are capable of acting with cunning and planning--See the old notes on Velinde's summoning them in Ashenvale, for example, or Ralaar's followers in Gilneas working to orchestrate a very very complex plot behind the wolfcult. Or even Ralaar's ability to speak and focus his attentions. Sure, Kaldorei worgen are angry F*ckers, but they arent mindless. Two: There is precedence in lore for a sort of mindless feral state that worgen can degenerate into--at least human worgen. Raven Hills quests, as well as the Worgen starting area references the limited effectiveness of any cure when theyve been feral for too long. There's further implication of Kaldorei worgen maintaining control in felwood--Denmother Ulrica makes several comments that imply that at least some of the worgen there are NOT gilnean, and may be some of the ones summoned by Velinde in ashenvale.

Original Worgan were made by the final boss of old shadowfang keep
Blue 20th Sep 2016, 1:55 PM edit delete reply
Night elf worgans have no control over themselves, they ended up going feral and then were locked in to the Emerald dream. They were let out again at some point but turned and killed the one who let them out, afterwards they spread the worgan curse to humans. They scythe of Elune is one of the few things that can cure a feral worgan as well as allowing them to change form, that's why in the worgan starting zone you're told to go fetch it.

Since Legion is now released if you're a balance druid you have to hunt down the Scythe of Elune, in Val'Sharah you encounter feral worgan who can be calmed/cured by the scythe. They return to being night elves, even thank you for calming the all consuming rage.

I wonder if your feelings on this are clear, Lord Vader.
3D 19th Sep 2016, 8:48 AM edit delete reply
Lord Mordin's gauntlets must make a pleasing 'clinking' sound whenever he moves his hands and casts spells.
So evil! ^^
3D 19th Sep 2016, 8:55 AM edit delete reply
Actually, now that I think of it ... if Mordin has a lich as an ally, that would mean that Mordin is at least as powerful as Arthas was ... post-paladin, pre-Lich King, of course.
John Langdon 20th Sep 2016, 10:55 AM edit delete reply
Arthas was the most powerful DK if just because mordin has a lich means he's more powerful then. Darion mograin is Way more powerful since he has 2 liches as well as multible DK under his command
Lynxx 19th Sep 2016, 10:24 AM edit delete reply
Just because he wants her alive, doesn't mean hes a good guy. Im assuming he wants Joric back. So? Why not make Serid trade Joric for Kinar? Or...she goes "feral" in times of distress, she was never fully cured. Maybe he doesn't need Joric. Either way, his intentions of keeping her alive are purely cynical. BTW Hello, everyone. Been reading this comic for quite sometime. Makes my Mondays less......Monday-y.
Royell 19th Sep 2016, 10:38 AM edit delete reply
A DK talking like that to a lich? He's got some balls. :p
Azimuth 19th Sep 2016, 12:04 PM edit delete reply
He can focus Kinar's power, right? And he presumably can't take on Drogan and expect to succeed with the power he currently has?
Mikotaj Fenris 19th Sep 2016, 2:14 PM edit delete reply
Since we sort of know what could have possibly made the death knights now. The real question is, what does Mordin really want with Kinar? Does he know she's been sleeping with other guys? Has he been saving up sperm to make more ferals? Does he want to use her as a weapon? Perhaps he sees Kinar as a death knight cure and the whole worgen world domination is just bullshit.

Or its a reason Amocin will reveal to us in a month's time.
Carves senpai 20th Sep 2016, 10:50 AM edit delete reply
To be honest if mordin ends up rapeing kinar it would mark him as a truly lost soul and not to mention that would end a long drought between sex sceans
Amocin 20th Sep 2016, 4:17 PM edit delete reply
Okay, Im going to sit here and make a long comment because I am getting a little miffed at all the "ooo I hope there is rape" comments.

For one, I will not show the trauma of rape in my comic. There isnt time left in this comic to dedicate all the BS that happens when dealing with rape... so Its not going to happen, and I am not going to sexualize a crime like that. There are other artists who do, and you may feel free to seek them out for that.

Secondly, I have had to look at the reasons why men rape.. and I can honestly say that I dont believe I have set Mordin up as a rapist.. or at least a knowing one. The 'dream' scene with Kinar certainly could count as rape, as he altered her perceptions of the past to exclude anything after Gilneas fell, but he had no knowledge of her current relationship with Serid.. But also the 'dream' form of him wasnt actually him.. He gave her a dream of what could have been, and she had just as much involvement.

Men rape for many reasons, entitlement, sexism, being taught that sometimes when a woman means no, she really means yes.. Shit like that. Mordin has not displayed any of these traits.. We are in a world where women have just as many rights as men, and Mordin has no desire to hurt Kinar in such a way.. He may want her to join him, but he has asked her to do so willingly. He has not been all "You are still my wife and you will do as I say" so clearly he doesnt feel ownership over her. Raping her would only be determental to his goals.

And I will end on one final note of... How stupid and unoriginal it is to try to show your readers somebody is a bad guy because he rapes... You can have a villain who doesnt rape.. Rape is an easy co-out on showing villains being evil.. It shows that you have no other way to prove to your readers that they can do wrong things unless they whip their dick out and sick it in an unwilling person. I would like to believe that I have already proven that Mordin has gone bad.. He is co-operating with a Lich, which have never been anything but bad, he used his own son as a tool of war, and he has no qualms about killing people himself. If you need a villain to rape somebody to prove they are bad, perhaps you should read better literature.

<slow clap, building to thunderous applause.> so well said, so well done.

What are the green things around her neck and wrists? The lich trying to bind her to its will or something?
Amocin 21st Sep 2016, 11:06 AM edit delete reply
It's mute, keeps her from casting. Amo used it way earlier on.
Dargon 21st Sep 2016, 9:03 AM edit delete reply
Amocin, First allow me to say that I FULLY Agree with Your stand on Rape and aforementioned reasons. However what I have read about the subject boils down to the Feeling of Superiority and Ownership over another person.(essentially what you said, just worded differently) In my personal opinion a very sick and disturbed mind. I simply cannot understand the desire for this subject to continue resurfacing......
Secondly, I apologize for commenting so late, work has me on temporary lay-off until more work can be found. :(
And Lastly, Don't be so hard on yourself for trying New Thing's....This is how we learn, and Without these attempts we can Never Move Forward!
The Page looks Great as always and your style is Always showing signs of increased improvements!!
Keep it up, You're doing Great!! :)

Mikotaj Fenris 22nd Sep 2016, 4:48 PM edit delete reply
There probably won't be any more. This is near the last page of the entire comic, maybe a single frame of whoever gets Kinar in the end, and perhaps Shai and Amo in the next.

Either that or Amocin is not going to do any more and just finish up the Comic.
Amocin 22nd Sep 2016, 7:19 PM edit delete reply
There is still stuff to do, and more adult scenes to come.
Mikotaj Fenris 23rd Sep 2016, 12:24 AM edit delete reply
Wait really? I thought there was going to be literally no more. That this part forward would be the end.

But nice surprise on that Amocin!
Mikotaj Fenris 23rd Sep 2016, 12:25 AM edit delete reply
So what are you saying? There is a year or so left worth of pages to be finished?
Amocin 23rd Sep 2016, 1:53 AM edit delete reply
Correct, there are a lot of plotlines to wrap up, not just this one.
Mikotaj Fenris 23rd Sep 2016, 3:28 AM edit delete reply
Like what Happened to Shai, how Amo is doing, what the other death knights are doing (I predict attacking the fort) and what'll happen to Joric, as well as what's going on with Koutak. You're right...
Guest 25th Sep 2016, 6:48 AM edit delete reply
I'm hoping for some Hotah action.

She's looking straight at US
Mikotaj Fenris 22nd Sep 2016, 4:50 PM edit delete reply
WAIT a minute

Something is not right....Why would a Lich agree to dominate the world with Worgen and not Undead? Perhaps that's why the worgen there ARE undead, is because of that lich.

So the plan is to turn the human and possibly Vrykul into worgen, then make them all death knights? That's what it comes off to me as.

Mordin takes care of the worgen part, the Lich reanimates.
Mikotaj Fenris 23rd Sep 2016, 2:26 PM edit delete reply
Guys, I'm serious, I think a huge battle is coming up.
