Awww so cute please say that the emerald dragon can wake up again after a while it would be so sad if he couldnt :(
Me 7th Aug 2017, 5:44 AM edit delete reply
Aww... Well this is sad. I hope nothing bad happens now.

By the way, you might find this interesting. The newest Hearthstone expansion is focused on Death Knights and the "What if" of the class heroes dying and being turned into Death Knights. For Malfurion, they're focusing on bugs instead stuff like bears or big cats. Still, it's definitely interesting to see that a Death Knight's class on life can affect their abilities in death.
Silegna 7th Aug 2017, 10:44 AM edit delete reply
That does make sense, as Balance Druids used to have Insect Swarm as an ability.
Drakkenfyre 7th Aug 2017, 11:12 AM edit delete reply
Well normally, they don't. Your abilities in life have nothing to do with the abilities you gain as a Death Knight in the franchise. As you said the expansion is a "What I?" scenario, and since it involves major lore heroes it would've been kind of boring if they all suddenly lost iconic abilities and all of them went straight to the normal Death Knight set. At that point you'd just be playing different skins on the same hero in Hearthstone.
Guest 12th Aug 2017, 7:26 PM edit delete reply
You are half right and half wrong there. If you were very powerfull in life then there was the possibility that you didn't lose all your ablities of your former life in state of undead just most don't find it convenient to cast spells and such as a DK.And as i understood it depends on the class you were in life before you died.
And yes even if they were powerfull enough, they would still lose most of theire abilities

TLDR: Dks can have their previous ablities of theire former life but they either find them unpractical or aren't powerfull enough/connected to theire former life.

he's just so cute :3

Are you sure? I think I've read somewhere that the only reason why there is no such thing in the actual World of Warcraft gameplay is because it would be too variant so they went with Death Knights all being paladins/warriors, but lore-wise they were supposed to have some of the powers from when they lived.
AmayaWolfe 7th Aug 2017, 6:08 AM edit delete reply
Aww, too cute, but if you die in the Emerald Dream/Nightmare don't you die in the real world?
RaisieWolf 7th Aug 2017, 6:12 AM edit delete reply
awww the lil one ran over to his green dragon friend thinking that he is a sleep to cuddle up with him but....-Sniffles- i think he was killed if i remember from the earlier pages helping kinar....-crys- in the last panel...the lil green dragon is dead.... =''<
Mirmulnir 7th Aug 2017, 12:37 PM edit delete reply

If u die in the emerald dream does that mean your dead for real?
Lodomy 7th Aug 2017, 4:03 PM edit delete reply
From reading into The Emerald dream and the lore given to us... Blizzard really from what i know HAS told us if you are dreaming into the emerald dream... time is almost non existent there(A day in azeroth time would feel like decades in the emerald Dream), But if you go into the dream in the flesh you have a possibility of dying there permanently... so we don't know whats going to happy to our green friend there.
Randall DeTavernier 7th Aug 2017, 12:51 PM edit delete reply
Maybe while being in his feral state. The little one, has more knowledge of how to bring the dragon back. Mind you he has been hidden for awhile. Who knows what else he is able to do.
DragonKing9525 7th Aug 2017, 1:01 PM edit delete reply
So...is Nathair really dead? Or are you not actually dead if you die in the Emerald Dream? Sorry I'm not familiar with WoW lore. I never got into the game
Guest 7th Aug 2017, 1:35 PM edit delete reply
Aww I apparently missed the vote. I didn't get my monthly pic either even though I have confirmation I paid(although there were issues due to expire password I resolved those as soon as I could). Hopefully I still get the magnet. :/

This page... really tugs at the heart... I hope our green dragon friend will be okay...
Guest 7th Aug 2017, 5:00 PM edit delete reply
Hah I called it! Hopefully they can resurrect him.
Rasminar 8th Aug 2017, 11:17 AM edit delete reply
Nathair's neck wound looks way better than it originally was, I wonder whats up with that.
America_SilverPhoenix 8th Aug 2017, 11:58 AM edit delete reply
I have the same questions as others: did Nathair died? Or is he just in a coma? Since Denor/Mordin and Kinar were in body and soul inside the dream, it makes sense they would be completely dead if killed inside the Emerald drema... But was Nathair there in "etheral" form or something? Is his body okay but his sould damaged? I don't know any lore of WoW, so if anyone could help me figure it out, it would be cool! Or will we knoe the answers next week?

Great comic, all in all!!
Cap'n Jack 13th Aug 2017, 2:57 AM edit delete reply
You guys do realize he opened his eyes in the bottom panel where they show him in the dream, right?

Dead dragons people don't open their eyes.
America_SilverPhoenix 14th Aug 2017, 6:27 PM edit delete reply
I don't think he "opened" his eyes... More like he didn't close them when he was impalled by Denor/Mordin.

I mean, sometimes dead people part with their eyelids separated.

Anyhow, my answer has been granted with today's page ^0^

I think Little Joric is the key to fixingi the dream. If he drifts off he maybe able to save his buddy and the others. Remember a child's mind is far more powerful than an adults within the Dream.
WolfyWolf 8th Aug 2017, 8:17 PM edit delete reply
The emerald dream wasn't really mentioned too much in War Craft 3 aside it was the realm of dragons. I think dying in the dream puts the dreamer into a deathlike coma, but that's only mentioned for Druids. I don't know if it's the same thing with dragons.
Guest 8th Aug 2017, 8:30 PM edit delete reply
Joric is supposed to be like 4, but he looks more like a 6 year old to me.
Amocin 8th Aug 2017, 8:35 PM edit delete reply
My four year old is pretty tall.... and most of the kids in his pre-school, who are between 4 and 5 are about the same.
Rasminar 9th Aug 2017, 11:14 AM edit delete reply
Also hes a worgen.. An adult male worgen (from what I know) is like 7-7.5 ft+, and Joric in comparison to Ghath seems to be 3-3.5 ft, which is actually similar to the height of human 4 year olds.
Lenanu 11th Aug 2017, 5:08 PM edit delete reply
My little girl is 4.5 years old and she's over half my height and I'm 5'4". She's as tall as many 5-6 year olds so just cause he's young doesn't mean he's short.
Dargon 9th Aug 2017, 7:13 AM edit delete reply
Awww.....what a sweet moment!
Lenanu 11th Aug 2017, 5:07 PM edit delete reply
Such an adorable scene! Makes me wonder how the green gotten to the fort.... Was he there prior to his end in the dream or was he moved there by someone and why?
Maroo 12th Aug 2017, 4:04 AM edit delete reply
A cute page. However, I have a feeling that the little fellow is going to be disappointed in his hopes for the dragon to wake up. If my memory serves he had been killed in the dream quite a number of pages ago. I do hope otherwise though.
