Given that all these creatures are given life by human imagination, I would say we are blessed as humans. Of course, if you would like to live as one of your own creations, that's another issue, but I wouldn't call it unfair.

You know since the green can't protect you as you sleep so Serid possibly went into the "dream-realm". To make sure the kid doesn't have nightmares.

You know, final panel showing the dragon, shouldn't Serid be visible? I know he's in his flight form but the panel they show him sleeping doesn't indicate he is under the wing, and even if he was, part of him should show in that third panel.
