Here's hoping those issues are resolved well and stop causing you trouble.

And once again Kinar speaks wisely and logically and remains ever humble while doing so. This time it looks like her words really get to Lyra, if the look on the latter's face is anything to go by.

And I am liking this kind and protective side of Callow so much, it really suits him and gives him character depth beyond the lovable ineffectual villain he is. Though I won't deny that it's rather jarring that Kinar's dialogue bubble in the last panel completely blocks off Callow's face, so not only do we miss his expression and reaction to Kinar's words, it just feels like a pretty awkward placement for the dialogue. No offense meant.

I agree on the point about Callow.
Regarding the speech bubble - maybe a huge one in the lower part of the frame?

Callow's expression is not important here, and he is still kinda a Mike Wazowski.
Rembrant 7th Aug 2018, 2:11 AM edit delete reply
Well, I guess it's a sort of "meta" way to show Callow's ineffectual villain status that even the dialogue bubbles disrespect him. It's just my own personal opinion, as I've read comics since even before kindergarten, and thus stuff like dialogue bubbles blocking characters is stuff I tend to find jarring in a comic. Just my opinion, no big. I'm just glad he's developing more as a character now, it's been a long time coming.

OK. Still, great art, as always. Thank you.

DK has a sad face I think Kinar's words made her think a little, I think you noticed prob already it's Gilnean not Gilnaen

Ouch, truth burns. Kinar didn't have to lift a finger to strike a blow. And the expression shows it hit.

This simpler style is rather nice to be honest.

Wow, that hit her right in the feels.

Does this mean ... we get to see the humnan forms of Kinar, Amo, Shai, and the others? :D
That would be ... so cool!

I don't know how anybody else plays their Worgens, but normally I don't bother to turn back. I know outside of combat, NPCs like Genn Greymane spend most of their time as humans. But Players entering combat (which is most of the game time)automatically shift back to Worgen, so it would be a real hassle to switch back after every combat, just to appear human. Maybe some Gilneans even wear it like a badge of honor. I don't know... maybe Amocin has different perspectives, or just prefers furries. ;)

I have two Worgen characters I consider "mains"; one of them has actually appeared here in the comic. She revels in her feral side, and NEVER assumes her human form, as she considers it pathetically weak...while the other uses whichever aspect proves the most useful for a given task. Each according to their personalities, in my opinion.

In the novel "War Crimes" Genn shows up in Pandaria for Garrosh's trial and everyone is surprised that he is in his Worgen form. Christie Golden explains in the text that he did it deliberately to show the Horde that he's not afraid to embrace his bestial side. I believe it was his way of saying "I can be just as much of a ferocious animal as you animals." And Genn would probably say it just that way.

We already have seen Kinar and Shai's human forms, back when talking with their brother about the night they got cursed

It's good to see the uncertainty in the DK's expression.

A lot of villains in stories would answer 'yes', reasoning that if they had to endure it so should others. While Lyra could still end up saying yes at least she's not fully committed to it.

I used to to as a death Knight (though not a worgan) alot, and while ( my way I rped the character) she acted superior to everyone, there were moments when she would show compassion and love, for her brother, and even fear itself, she knew what it was like to face loss and to not control what she was or did fully, and sometimes it was the reality check that someone gave her, that made her uncertain and even afraid,

I think it's brilliant that in this comic/graphic novel, that those emotions are allowed to show through :)

Funny how the truth, and earnest, honest feeling can be a very powerful weapon. Very well written and portrayed Amo.

I am now even more intrigued as to how this portion of this already excellent story plays out. =^.^=

Amo, has anybody told you that your female Worgen look a ton better than the actual, in-game ones? :)
withpuppys 6th Aug 2018, 2:35 PM edit delete reply
blizzard set the standard pretty low, i pray to the light they will change that soon
Guest 6th Aug 2018, 2:52 PM edit delete reply
Probably sound better too. Have you listened to female worgen in the game? They sound like their throats are full of saw dust.

This truly sums up what a lot of people fail to understand about the DKs. It's easy to view the antagonism displayed as being mean spirited. The reality of the situation is that they've been completely cut off from their old life, had their emotional spectrum radically altered, and are essentially used as little more than tools of war. Doesn't really leave much room for humanity.
They are probably the most severely impacted victims of the Lich King.
