And Sicha seems to be the type who would keep casting the STF forever while working on making it semi-permanent at least
but if others eventually get over the fact she will have to inevitably do so too. she wouldn't be the first to try to undo the curse.
Have a Merry Christmas.
I can think of any number of reasons why someone would not take a cure, including the possibility that it in incredibly difficult and/or expensive (The same reasons I don't have one of those brontosaurus mounts :D )... I'm thinking more about lore here, I guess, than anything.
On a side note what's interesting if you ever followed the undead quest line you'd also see its cannon that drinking the blood of a worgen can pass the curse on from a Non-feral worgen to other people. So I wonder if Amocin plans on making that part cannon in this story.
That would have killed a lot of sympathy. As it is, she deserves sympathy.
Two points.
One, she doesn't know it, but she stands beside a former Death Knight, something that has been seen as impossible before, so a cure may be possible.
Two thank you (once more) Amo, you've given us something few stories bring, a fate worse than death (at least if Sicha doesn't adapt). Threatening a hero with death or the death of a friend or family member is easy. A fate worse than death? That's rare in stories.
I'm just curious to get a better look at what other species look like post-Worgen infection, now.
I hope that Sicha really listened to Amo after the latter scolded her for threatening Kinar; Amo's sister-in-law. What I mean is: I hope that Sicha's new worgen form will make herself leave not only Amo, and even Koutack, Ghath, Shai, Joric, and especially Kinar & Mordin/Denor alone.
And also: when will Hotah pay for what she had done to Amo's dad-in-law; Koutack, brother-in-law; Ghath, husband; Shai, & nephew; Joric, using the latter (Amo) for her (Hotah's) own selfish goals, and most of all for what she's really up to about Kinar; Amo's sister-in-law?
When will Serid eventually pay for the way he treated Kinar against not only her sister-in-law; Amo and even her father; Koutack, brothers; Ghath & Shai, pet netherwing dragon; Anders, and boss; Drogan's wishes much too often in the first place when her husband; Mordin/Denor, who along with their son; Joric and even Ghath were thought to be lost & are revealed to be still alive all this time, finds out even when they all meet again? It's because I want to see justice.
Once again, keep up the good work and have a Merry Christmas. Good day.
2 - Serid didnt abuse Kinar. When Koutack said he wanted Serid to stop being so hard on her, cause she was always coming back tired after training, it was a joke that went right over your head. I heavily implied with the scene that Serid wasnt being hard on her in truth, Koutack just didnt know how many intimate moments they really had.
3 - There is nothing illegal or unlawful about sleeping with another consenting adult. Kinar was never raped by Serid, she consented fully to all actions. Just because she was married, (she didnt know Mordin was still out there) does not mean its illegal. For example : If I wanted to go and sleep with another man behind my husband's back I can not be arrested for it. Its morally wrong, and makes me an asshole, but it is not illegal.
Now, lets address some of the other things in your many comments from before that are wrong.
4 - Saying that Amo should kill characters off for having mean intentions towards Kinar is wrong, and is actually murder. Murderers can not be Paladins and they can not use Holy magic to smite people for simply saying something you dont like. I dont even know why I have to explain this to you.. The only reason a Paladin should be able to kill somebody is in a life or death situation.. If somebody was absolutely, without any shadow of a doubt going to murder somebody, its first the Paladin's job to stop the attempt at murder, and then bring the person to justice as peacefully as possible. Weapons and violence are a last resort.
5 - Hotah has done nothing wrong except saying one thing to Koutack that you did not like.. You need to let go of this misplaced anger.. you have held onto it for over a year. Its such a petty thing that I am questioning if maybe you have some anger issues. Address your feelings about why you feel so strongly against a small slight and require death as a punishment... thats pretty sevear.. Its like.. your dog shit on your carpet, now you must kill your dog.. Sounds a bit extreme doesnt it? Calm down.
6 - Dude... I am not a person to give away spoilers... but over your countless suggestions of what should happen in my story.. well first.. Its my gosh darn story and I am not going to take any of your suggestions.. I am going to write it the way I had always planned on writing it. You are not trying to 'help me' write a better story, you are trying to get me to write the story the way you want it.. its not going to happen, and if you dont let it go that this is my story and not yours, you are going to be horribly disappointed sir.
7 - And please, somebody correct me if I am wrong here... But have I not shown how abusive Mordin is properly? Have I not given you ample reason to see that this is a dangerous situation? You keep referring to Mordin as Kinar's one true love, but dear god, have you been reading this comic? Mordin has ordered Amo's death, left his own child as a feral beast, and is holding his own wife prisoner. He even friggen attacked her and attempted to kill a creature that holds religious significance to her.. But if you want to keep dreaming that Mordin is so much cooler than Serid... I fear for the women in your life sir.
Now, in the event that you didnt read this, I will be copy and pasting this on your next comment, and your next one, and your next one.. until you realize the most important thing... #1 Women are not property..
1. Agreed. Women aren't property. To be fair, the only time a human or demi-human (i guess in this case...?) become property is if they ALLOW it, aka Indentured Servitude/Slavery/BDSM/Pet-Master Play. Other than that, they are their OWN person. If Kinar wanted to sleep with freaking ARTHAS of all people, she could. Would not recommend and would probably STRONGLY encourage her NOT to make that fatal leap, but still...her choice.
2. Did that person REALLY think Serid abused Kinar? Cause if he missed that joke, that's a pretty lacking sense of humor. I mean, its adult humor...But still, pretty sure just about everyone else got the implication. Very cute, btw.
3. See comment 1 and include this: She WANTED to sleep with Serid after things rolled along, and to be fair...Her husband, while once a good guy, is kinda a dickbag now.
4. From my understanding, Paladin's either lose their standing for outright murder, OR their powers just DO NOT work. They are literally COMPELLED to do good. Amo's no longer a Death Knight...She doesn't feel that "itch" (yes, i'm reading the side comic) to butcher every single person that pisses her off in the slightest. Thank you for knowing that bit of lore, Amocin...As someone who Roleplay's on WoW sometimes, its absolutely grating to see a Paladin butchering someone in the streets of Stormwind for no reason.
5. I don't get it...What did Hotah even do, other than berate Koutack for hogtying Sicha? Wait...Cow-Tying...? Tauren-Tying...? I dunno...
6. Its's Amocin's story. Back off...You want it to go your way, get some artistic talent (clearly lacking) and draw it yourself. Otherwise, shaddap and enjoy the ride.
7. PRETTY sure we got the hint that Mordin isn't the same as he used to be. Even IF he's being manipulated by a Lich (which he seems to be), that DOESN'T mean he would have to go to the lengths he has to be convincing that he's evil. He could have easily done any number of things, and probably still had the same result. The only case of holding back i've seen is that he hasn't outright killed Kinar. But THAT'S IT. Otherwise, he's gone out of his way to be evil, and seems to have ZERO morale issue with it. Root for the bad guy all ya want...he's still an asshole, and I hope he either snaps out of it, proves he's only doing things cause the Lich is forcing his hand, or someone beats him unconscious BEFORE he ends the world for whatever...reason...I mean, his entire plot is to infect Azeroth with the Worgen Curse. Doesn't seem bad, unless you're me and you understand what happened with Gilneas when the curse hit THEM...
Anyways, thought i'd toss my own argument in the ring. Sorry if I rambled.
Amo, can we please just get rid of this one user? They clearly arent going to stop trying to objectify women and im getting tired of seeing them try and ignoring your words.
It is my hope that he will actually read what I am saying for once and not continue to prattle on like some sort of child not getting his way.
*sigh* Some people.
The only thing I don't get (and if this is explained later I can wait), is how did a paladin become undead? I thought the lore was they were immune.
And it can't be Lich King compared to 'normal' undead because they're all the product of hte Burning Legion (if my Warcraft 3 lore is right.
Either way I found it awesome! Amo is my fav character, so I didn't care, I was cheering the whole time.
Like the Banshee Queen remarking that Worgen can not be made undead, I dont believe she has the power to make them so, nor do those who follow her.. Last I checked she doesnt have a Lich working for her though.
So some things, if they happen at all in the game, I can twist the lore to make it happen and explain it away, though I try not to dwell on their obvious lore breaking stuff..
However, be assured that I am never going to give a Yellow dragon the same dreaming ability of the Green.. cause.. well they shouldnt be able to do that.
Thank you for your time and keep up the good work!
Darion Mograine was a paladin, and member of the Argent Dawn before becoming a Death Knight. Though, Darion didn't become corrupted in the normal sense. He took his own life with Corrupted Ashbringer in order to set his father's soul free from the blade, and was then raised as a DK by the Scourge.
There is a famous undead member of the Argent Crusade, Leonid Barthalomew "The Revered" whom players have argued over for years, insisting that he was a Warrior not a Paladin before being raised by Sylvanas. Still, he's undead, and a member of the Argent Crusade.
You can blame all peoples you want , but it's over : there is no way to "come back"
And always no new about Jetnara
