Sweet I have been waiting for more dialogue between these two.

Also, Mordin always reminds of the black werewolf at the end of Van Helsing. Awesome!

"They serve a a greater purpose like this."

Ah, the Greater Good. Classic bad guy motivation. Especially when it is HIS greater good at the expense of everyone else's. Reminds me of what is going on in today's society ...

Now for the real question, can they serve an even "greater purpose" for Amo (seriously, where DID those scars on her thigh come from)?

While I admire Kinar's steadfast attempts at reasoning with the bad guys... I feel like this particular argument might fall a bit flat.

I thought the whole point of feral worgen who can easily spread the curse is that they can't be reasoned with. How are you supposed to convince them of anything?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this, but I do find it interesting that Mordin is giving the EXACT same response here that he did when Kinar confronted him about Joric (pg 257).

"But you left him like this!"
"He serves a greater purpose like this."

"You're keeping them as slaves."
"They serve a greater purpose like this."

It's probably premature to draw any conclusions from that, but I find the lack of variation fascinating. Consistency is one thing, but there's usually some variance in how you express the same point. This line might very well be rehearsed.

Again though, maybe reading too much into it.

The line being the same was intentional, take that as you will. =P
CM 11th Jun 2019, 11:24 AM edit delete reply
To clarify, I wasn't doubting that it was an intentional repetition on your part, and it was that fact that gave it potentially interesting ramifications.

I know, I just didnt want others to come in and dispute your comment as simply being a coincidence.

The line could be rehearsed.

He probably had to say the same thing a number of times when he was initially recruiting his little army.

Or, the line may not be his. It may have been "given" to him, and he may be unaware of, or unable, to say anything different.

If mordins plan is to turn people into worgen, why not just spoke a water supply with worgen blood? We saw back in silverpine that worgen blood will also turn you worgen
Amocin 11th Jun 2019, 9:31 AM edit delete reply
That would take a lot of blood, and as far as I am aware this is not transmissible by transfer of mosquito.. Its more of a magical curse than a virus type, so I dont see it working like that.
druidofthewolf 25th Jun 2019, 9:40 PM edit delete reply
it must be drinked and i think putting it in a water supply mite dilute it to much after all it basically a potion made of worgen blood

Mordin has resting *tch* face. You know...resting scoff face, like he's forever unimpressed. Its a good look for him.

Also, I smell Lich influence in his words. I get that people change over time, but its rare to see someone flip so drastically. From how Kinar portrays Mordin, he's personality-flipped about 180 degrees.

Being a Death Knight must suck AND be awesome at the same time.
