Tragic as it might be, Amo was probably their best bet to put him down if Kinar couldn't bring herself to it. He said he wasn't going to stop, he was too mired in his hatred to see reason- and it looked like he was ready to fight to the end.
Guest 17th Feb 2020, 6:56 AM edit delete reply
I'm sure he'll get back up. And I'm also sure that Kinar will get angry and tell Amo the truth about who Mordin/Denor really is. That will make Amo realize that she just made a serious mistake out of ignorance and that Hotah lied to her.
Amocin 17th Feb 2020, 8:48 AM edit delete reply
Amo made no mistake, she said in her mind "This guy is crazy, and I am not going to let Kinar suffer killing him a second time, so I will do it myself."

Dude where the fuck do you get off at?

It's like all you do is see a new page and comment without even bothering to spend a few brain cells to actually tead and ubderstand what is going on and cant be bothered to get your facts straight.

At what point did Hotah ever lie to Amo? Amo knows who Mordin is because she was around when the man was killed. I mean seriously first you rant and rave about some irrelivant story that clearly isnt what you have or habent be reading and how Kinar is baiscally an object, and now this? Whatever it is you are smoking, drinking, taking or being brained washed with; stop doing it.

At this point you sound like someone who clearly doesnt want to bother actually reading or supoorting this commit, and rather just keep typing up shit spilling out of your deluded brain and warped sense of reality to intrntionally fuck with the artist and author and their supporters.

You need to step the fuck away from the internet, seek some serious therapy and help, and learn to stop projecting your non-existant "facts" onto this person. It's getting old, rediculous, repdative and out and out almost a form of fucking harassment as all you seem to want to do is piss people off and ruin the comic.

Seriously. S.T.O.P already!!

Defending Guest, please do not get angry at this dude's little bit of harassment. Do as I do, laugh at it and revel in the fact that his Mordin/Kinar ship is clearly sinking. I have dealt with his comments for years, because I know how this is going to end, and in the end, he is not going to be happy one bit. That alone is all that needs to be said, the story speaking for itself.
Kaleshibata 18th Feb 2020, 2:35 AM edit delete reply
Honestly I'm inclined to agree. I kinda just figured after the last page the humoring did kinda need to stop. ( not yours Amocin since its the case of you already know how things go.) don't give long responses to guest, just kinda take the author's approach. just let the comic do the speaking for guest.
Windwalker 18th Feb 2020, 11:49 AM edit delete reply
Wait, so we have the author's approval to revel in this guy's inevitable disappointment?

Kai 18th Feb 2020, 12:50 PM edit delete reply
Agree. It's like hes reading a completely different story than what is being shown.

He reminds me of these guys that have like some card core crush's on fictional characters or ships and has this delusional idea of how things are/should be VS what things really are.

Like that one kid who reviews bombed that one game recently just because he didn't like the story ark his crush (one of the characters) had. Or how another character he likes had a short/poor story... when it was a story about growing up, and getting over an obsession with another of the game characters... something the dude should have reflected on for himself.

With herself? After all, Kinar killed him when he was her husband because she became a feral worgen. Amo killed a deluded, angry death knight who was not Kinar's husband anymore. :)

Even better, it looks like she got him with his own sword.

I expect poor Kinar is going to have some recovery to do regardless.

Guest 17th Feb 2020, 7:23 AM edit delete reply
Oooh, now you done it, Amo. You'll be sorry for this when your sister-in-law, Kinar tells you the truth, right now.

My respect for Amo is temporarily ruined for now, until I see that Kinar will tell her the truth. Because, actions, like Amo just did, will create more tensions to their family, plus what would they, especially her nephew/ Kinar & Mordin/Denor's son, Joric think? And as for Serid, I still think he should make a choice to leave Kinar, Mordin/Denor, Amo, and their family alone when Kinar's job of reforming Mordin/Denor is done. Because they all know the truth that worgens and taurens don't mix.

Keep up the good work. Good day.
Amocin 17th Feb 2020, 8:46 AM edit delete reply
Sorry to fill you in on this detail, But Amo knew exactly who that was. Drogan and Shai told her off screen. It happened on page 328... Why do you think she was so determined to get out there? She knew what Kinar was facing, and she knew that Kinar wouldnt be able to do what needed to be done.

In short, Amo knows she was stabbing Kinar's husband.

Lmao duuuuuude...
What are you consuming when you read the pages for being so blindly in denial XD
Rankamateur 17th Feb 2020, 4:03 PM edit delete reply
Mordin was keeping Joric feral, as a source for turning others into Worgen. His...own...son.

I'm not exactly sure how that fits in your strange head-canon of 'reconciliation-despite-all-odds', guest...but messing with the intellectual and emotional development of a young child is pretty much unforgivable. Further, you are welcome to hold the opinion that Kinar's relationship with a stable and loving influence like Serid should be severed simply because you don't personally like it...but you have no right to insist that Amocin should submit to it. Try to remember that you are indeed nothing more than a guest, and are in no position to dictate the progression of this story.
RaptorVonSqueaker 17th Feb 2020, 10:20 PM edit delete reply
I like your way of explaining it.
To me, it's almost as Guest would expect a woman to forgive her husband if he, basically, kept his child hostage while mentally ill ( so basically, what they did with autistic children in the past, locking them in basements in chains and not trying to help them at all ).
Like, which woman in their right mind would ever forgive something like that or even consider owing anything to that piece of lesser sterile testicle of a man?

A man, or a woman, isn't entitled to "forgive" someone just because they happen to be married.
That's why divorce exist.
That's why we're in 2020 and not in the damn 1450's.

Someone does horrible things, such as holding hostage a child for 7-8 years ( which being Feral could be compared to being Autistic + having a contagious illness of some sort ) and use the said child as a bio-warfare weapon ( which is, even IRL, forbidden in actual WARS ).
And must we add, that child, that baby, is HIS SON.
Kept like a chained animal in a god damn basement.

Come tell to me that Mordin deserve the mother of his son to "forgive him" or feel guilty for him.

Joric is better with no father than having that piece of lesser man as his father.

( PS :: I am sorry if the word "autistic" is offensive, I am not english and I am not sure which word to use, which one is the currently accepted respectful term ( mentally impaired? Spectrum? I am not sure, I am so sorry. Educate me on the right word to use please! :) ), but since Guest seems to be stuck in the 1920's, I figured that using a term his oxygen-lacking brain had a chance to understand ( judging by how they understand 0% of the comic and what Amocin tell them, that's like, 0.00001% chances of them understanding. And i'm generous. )
Aetheos 23rd Feb 2020, 11:24 AM edit delete reply
I'm not taking sides with Guest or anything but...
I may be misinterpreting things myself here, but it doesn't seem to me like Mordin had much of a choice in how he treated Joric, Mordin was raised by the Lich and was being watched 24/7 so it's not like he could have went to the druids for help with his son. In the end Joric was left feral, yes, but he was also safe, and the first chance he had to get rid of Joric he took it, even if he traded Kinar in an attempt to sway her. If Mordin showed any sympathy (If he has any at all) towards Joric the lich could have used that against him if he thought it would achieve results in whatever the lich's endgoal was. Mordin DID leave Joric feral, but from what i can see it may have been to keep him safe. if i were in mordin's shoes, i certainly wouldn't want my son to see what a monster i was becoming. And even if Joric wasn't feral I can't say that he'd have much of a childhood living with death knights and other feral worgen, yeah? Again, i may be misinterpreting things but I am under the impression he cares quite a bit more than he lets on, even if he is a genocide bound death knight. From what i can see, he wouldn't have been able to show love, even if he wanted to.
So in summary, as much as i'd hate to say it, i'd have to say Joric was better off Feral where he couldn't get hurt.
If you were in Mordin's shoes, what would you have done if that was your son?
Guest 18th Feb 2020, 12:58 AM edit delete reply
As if your first comment wasn't bad enough you add another mentally challenged warped reality one to add insult to injury and fule your superiority complex.

You sir, ma'am; whatever you are- are WRONG on so many damn levels and i swear you get off and hearing yourself speak and reading what you type. I agree, at this point you are clearly stuck in the late 1800's and early 1900's back when women were nothing more than objects for men, betrer seen and not heard and clearly you must be racist to go saying Serid is the bad gut becaue he's a damn Tauren and not a worgen or dating and LOVING a WIDDOW. Kinar's husband DIED, thus making Kinar a widdow which, by your terms (and another fact of yours proven wrong) means she is so to say "back on the market" for a new man to court her. Just because her husband was broight back a basically living corpse does not mean suddenly she is remarried to him all over again and Serid needs to basically as you are putting it, fuck off and do die in a jail cell.

Seriously, I said it before and I will say it again, GET MENTAL HELP!! Stop harassing Amocin with your fucked sense of reality, start living in 2020 and not the 1800's and get your head out of your deluded ass. Maube for once you'll start seeimg things as thet are instead of being clouded by the constant shit you keep spilling out with each new page.

AnselmBlackheart 17th Feb 2020, 7:31 AM edit delete reply
I do believe Amops sword is changing sizes. She is practically wielding a kite on a blade in panel 2 where the top bits are twice as wide as the base, but we can see in the third panel that it is nowhere near that width.
Amocin 17th Feb 2020, 8:47 AM edit delete reply
Perspective, things may appear like they are changing size but swords when rotated can look smaller due to the angle they are held.
AnselmBlackheart 19th Feb 2020, 5:40 AM edit delete reply
That... doesn't apply anywhere near this much here. Especially at the two angles.

We can clearly see several points of reference, namely the guard, the flat of the blade, and Amo's hand.

Additionally, the difference in angle is fairly minimal, while there is a somewhat larger tilt on the x-axis, it is almost spot on for the Y and Z comparing panels 2 and 3. This means while there is some perspective distortion, nowhere near enough to cause a change to that degree.

Plus, using those points of reference above, we can easily factor in how much it should change. And it is nowhere near the amount it is.
Amocin 19th Feb 2020, 10:05 AM edit delete reply
Well...okay.. That doesnt really help me.. I made it the way it is due to me thinking the perspectives felt right.. I failed apparently, though I dont exactly understand how due to your statement.. I would gladly fix it if somebody could give me a red-line or better explain how I could fix this.
Guest 19th Feb 2020, 8:01 PM edit delete reply
Well bearing in mind that I'm not an artist, I think it comes down in large part to how the sword changes between frames. Let's take a look at panel 2 for a moment, specifically the narrowness of the ricasso (the part right above the guard) and the width of the blade when the runes start. The difference is pronounced enough that the sword almost resembles an axe in that image, as the moment the ricasso transitions to the blade proper its width is multiplied by 3. In panel 3, however, we see that the blade proper is maybe 1.5 times the width of the ricasso. Perspective does not explain that, as the 'hooks' in the blade are at the same relative location as the top of the ricasso. Their relative width should not change. We also see in panel 3 that the guard is actually significantly wider than the blade at its thickest, which also should be consistent between panels 2 and 3.

Furthermore, we're talking about perspective for a bastard sword (I think? At a glance it seems too big to be a longsword, but too small to be a greatsword) on mid-range shot. The sword seems to be pointed downstage left rather than downstage center, terminating well before it reaches the 'camera'. Perspective really shouldn't be noticeably warping the sword's proportions under these circumstances. It might seem just a little shorter than it would from the side, but other than that it should be pretty consistent between those two panels.

That's my two cents on it, at least.

This is the sign of a great artist, one willing to admit they _might_ have made an art error and appreciative of the advice on how to correct it
Rather than an arrogant gnat who won't accept criticism about _any_ aspect of their work (writing or art) and bans people for saying anything negative (even about a character who is a complete arsehole)
Amocin 22nd Feb 2020, 2:48 AM edit delete reply
I see no reason to act like I am perfect, I am not, and I always strive to do better.. cant do better if I dont see the problem, sometimes it needs to be pointed out by others.. There is no shame in making mistakes.
Guesticus 22nd Feb 2020, 7:31 PM edit delete reply
No, _you_ don't act like you are perfect, was talking about another artist who actually banned me for pointing out an art error (and he just dismissed it as a 'perspective thing')
Amocin 23rd Feb 2020, 1:25 AM edit delete reply
Im sorry I may have typed that wrong, I didnt think you were telling me I acted like I was perfect.. I meant that its something I kinda tell myself..

I have known many artists who act that way.. any criticism is met with hostility.. Heck I have gotten it as well when trying to help others as well, and I find it counter productive to the craft..

I am so sorry you have had that experience, and I wish I could say that it is rare, but it is not.. However, to anybody reading this. I am always open for advice, always open to having wrongs pointed out. I may not be able to fix them right away, or require more skill before I can make it right, but I will take your comments to heart, learn from my mistakes, and strive to do better. I know issues are pointed out cause you guys care and want to see me do better, and I want to give that to you, a better me.

All artists make errors at times, whether it's with the script (typoes or simply grammatical errors or words missing) or with the art (usually because they didn't see something)
The good ones listen to those who have spotted the errors and do what they can to fix them
Personally, have encounter way more of the good ones, and, so far, only one truly 'bad one'

Amo seemed to enjoy doing that, and at least she waited to be sure it was the proper thing to do
AnselmBlackheart 19th Feb 2020, 11:04 AM edit delete reply
I'll do my best here.

I took the image and assumed how you did it side on in panel 3 was your intention. So, I took that section, rotated it to match, then used the perspective tool to line it up properly.

You effectively over corrected for the perspective, exaggerating the proportions. As you can see with the two black marks, it does make the arching shape slightly more prominent and does match the ANGLE you drew it at, you simply made the end segment too large.
Antoniokontos 17th Feb 2020, 7:58 AM edit delete reply

Finally! A Paladin that doesn't hesitate to destroy evil. Although, I have been of the opinion that the Mordin that Kinar knew died in the process of becoming a Death Knight. Based on comments, it seems that Amocin has a bit of a disagreement with this sentiment. Regardless, I am happy to see zealous avocation for the forces of Light. Mordin has made it known he is unrepentant and I have nothing but more respect for Amo as of now, hopefully she can finish the job.
Maryalee 17th Feb 2020, 7:17 PM edit delete reply
That's exactly what a "Retribution" Pladin is: A soldier of The Light who seeks to bring the Light's justice against evil. Mordin has just announced that he willingly allied himself with a Lich Lord, a lieutenant of The Lich King.

All of which makes me believe Worgen Paladins should be canon in WoW.

Michel Mephit 17th Feb 2020, 3:35 PM edit delete reply
Couldn't it be said that a Paladin is the diametric opposite of a Death Knight? And if so, wouldn't this be a killing blow, even for a 'death' knight?
Jerodan Diogenes 17th Feb 2020, 6:15 PM edit delete reply
He may be crazy, but because of his way of thinking, he isn't wrong. How do you reason with someone who thinks their way is the only way? Replace Undead with White Supremacist.

Yeah, let's probably not go any deeper down that rabbit hole unless Amo says I'm not wrong.
Amocin 17th Feb 2020, 6:48 PM edit delete reply
I would not consider Mordin a white supremacist, he doesnt think that Worgen or Human are better than everything else. He more so believes that being a Worgen would lead to ending wars over race. If he had the option to change everybody into a Tauren for example, he would be doing that instead, but the Worgen Curse gave him a very easy way to solve a problem.. Nobel intentions, twisted way of going about it.
Jerodan Diogenes 18th Feb 2020, 5:49 PM edit delete reply
Fair enough. You're not exactly negating my position, since it doesn't really matter what he's trying to turn people into so much as he's trying to make them all the same, but if you're not trying to anything deeper than the surface, that's fine. I'm enjoying the story enough as it is.

Also, *noble. Nobel was an inventor. Noble is the word you were looking for. One writer to another.

I'm in the camp of "Off With His Head" as far as being really sure. However, what no one is saying is that beheading someone is...messy. As in, blood will go everywhere in 360 degrees messy. Had Amo gone for Mordin's head, then EVERYONE, Kinar included, would have been part of the experience.

Amo's expression in the last panel is a bit troubling.
It looks as though she might be letting the anger notch a bit high. Understandable, but dangerous.

You are correct, love does overcome all.. Amo loves Kinar enough to overcome her PTSD about killing somebody long enough to put a sword threw Mordin's gut, cause Kinar doesnt need that kinda Toxic dude in her life, and clearly Kinar is in no position to gut Mordin herself... Kinar is far too forgiving.

Also, I see the Guest from magical xmas land has returned once again to grace us with his special brand of delusion and myopia.

Let me just take this moment, Amocin, to praise your masterful story-telling, character development, and art.

NOW, I can move on and say what I came to. THIS PAGE IS A MASTERPIECE. In 5 frames, you showed exactly who Amo is, as both a Paladin and a Death Knight. You showed how she loves her family unconditionally and will do ANYTHING to protect them; even if it violates her own creed, even if they may hold resentment for it at any level, she won't hesitate to do what must be done. It breaks my heart for Kinar to have to witness what her first love has gone through, how it's twisted and warped him into something horrible, and to watch it come to a most violent and sudden end (potentially, there is still SOME possibility he is not dead, I suppose). My heart breaks for Amo too, she knows the potential consequences for what she has just done. She intimately knows the agony and pain she just caused for the people she cares more about than even herself.
