so first koutack really dislikes taurens, then he somewhat gets used to serid with him and kinar being a thing and now he has one for a son-in-law and another as a pen pal... huh, how some people can change a bit, right?

Amos thoughts never fail to match my own XD

Who is Lyra again I forget
Guest 27th Jul 2020, 8:31 AM edit delete reply
Lyra is the worgen Hotah protected during the blizzard, even though they were enemies at the time.
Antoniokontos 27th Jul 2020, 5:25 AM edit delete reply
Glad to see him smile

Okay now that's so cute!! I love the look on his face. I also want to hold the little cutie.

I've been reading this for a long time now and have enjoyed it.

After reading this page, I started thinking "Who is Lyra?". I looked at the Cast page and couldn't see them there.
Guest 27th Jul 2020, 8:30 AM edit delete reply
Lyra is the Worgen that Hotah protected during the blizzard

Thank you.

I'm sitting here smiling at the thought of Hotah and Lyra being in a relationship. At the end of their fight I was getting a vibe that Hotah got through to her about there being a different way to live.
Guest 27th Jul 2020, 12:24 PM edit delete reply
Isn't Hotah too old to be having a sexual relationship? Then again, I don't know how long Tauren live for, or how long they stay in their sexual prime.
Amocin 27th Jul 2020, 2:20 PM edit delete reply
You're never too old to find somebody you care about... also... people well into their 90s still have sex..
Guest 28th Jul 2020, 12:12 AM edit delete reply
Somehow, I’m reminded of an episode of Doc Martin where Auntie Joan ended up getting seduced by a young artist. Turned out the artist had an Oedipus complex and then he nearly ODed on viagra. Not that I’m suggesting the latter part has any parallel here (at least I bloody hope it doesn’t).
Windwalker 27th Jul 2020, 4:31 PM edit delete reply
I feel like this is appropriate.

But on a more serious note there might be a lower limit on how old you have to be before you can legally have sex but there's definitely no upper limit, legally, morally or otherwise.
Guest 27th Jul 2020, 7:16 PM edit delete reply
Oh, i know that, but usually people's libido naturally starts to decline when they are in their advanced years. Most people over 80 have a much lower sex drive than they did when they were in their 30's and 40's
Amocin 27th Jul 2020, 8:04 PM edit delete reply
My brother is a CNA and works with the elderly.. it doesnt change that much.. I have heard some pretty nasty stories about a 90 year old who had 3 side women who he saw weekly. The above video from Scrubs is very accurate.

I had always gotten the impression that tauren seem to have longer lifespans than most--or, at the least, age doesn't seem to depreciate their physical condition as much as it would others. Cairne Bloodhoof was almost a hundred years old in WCIII, and died at around 107 in a death duel with Garrosh in Orgrimmar (and would probably have won had the Grimtotem not resorted to treachery and poisoned Garrosh's axe before the duel without his knowledge). A tauren in their seventies may well be the equal of a human or orc in their forties.
Amocin 28th Jul 2020, 11:41 AM edit delete reply
Lifespans in WoW are very different depending on race. The Tauren can live up to 150 apparently, but rarely reach over 100, likely do to war or other outside influences.

Humans themselves, can live to be 115 if again, outside influences dont kill them first.

Tauren are considered middle aged at 75, and as most middle aged people will tell you, they dont feel old at all.

https://wow.gamepedia.com/Life_spans#Worgen - these guys have made a nice little list on the subject.
TeaBear 29th Jul 2020, 10:14 AM edit delete reply
Yup. I'm 54 and still get surprised that I'm not twelve anymore.
Of course I've been told I still *act* like a twelve-year old ;)

Amo never changes, the slightest possibility of naughty gossip and she's all excited, lol
Cohasset 27th Jul 2020, 3:41 PM edit delete reply
That's one of the things we love about Amo. She's a paladin at heart and yet dirty minded as can be.
Guest 27th Jul 2020, 4:27 PM edit delete reply
Wow. Koutack and Hotah are at peace with each other. I would guess that Hotah had finally understood that Koutack was trying to protect his family, especially his daughter, Kinar, and that Ghath is his eldest son, and also that Joric, who used to be feral, is Kinar's son. And I hope that Sicha got her final comeuppance for plotting to kill Kinar when Amo and even Drogan & Hotah got through with her, for one last time, so that justice is served.

This is getting very interesting. Can't wait to see more.

Keep up the good work! Have a good day.
King kmodo 28th Jul 2020, 1:50 AM edit delete reply
If I recall correctly, Sicha got her comeuppance to some degree in the form of becoming a Worgen herself during the final battle as I also recall that really being her only major issue (other than simple jealousy) with seeing Kinar and Serid together.
Guest 30th Jul 2020, 6:10 PM edit delete reply
I had to go all the way back to 2018 to find Sicha becoming a worgen. Guess I missed the part about her plotting to kill Kinar entirely.
Guest 27th Jul 2020, 4:49 PM edit delete reply
Hotah, winning hearts and minds one worgen at a time. How would Koutack address Hotah in their postal exchanges: would it be along the lines of "Taunka! Salutations, ..." or is that style of greeting reserved only for Serid?

So cool to see satisfying character arc conclusions for minor characters, such as Lyra. She seemed like one of the most ardent believers in Mordin's cause prior to the boss fight, and it's nice to see that she has completely flipped her stance on that.
Amocin 27th Jul 2020, 5:19 PM edit delete reply
Koutack would take a much more formal greeting in notes with her, such as "Shaman Hotah", using her class as a Title and then her name. He has far more respect for Hotah due to her accomplishments in life, that she works for several factions with the goal of helping everybody rather than just serving the Horde.
Guest 27th Jul 2020, 9:50 PM edit delete reply
Thanks for the explanation, Amo! Those are some pretty high standards, Serid's got a ways to go before his father-in-law (uncertain if Kinar and Serid have gotten hitched?) accords him that kind of respect.

First thought: Woah, Hotah is a shaman? Must have missed something in the comic.
Second thought: I bet it's mentioned in the bio, and yup, there it is, I'm a doofus.
Third thought: Hotah's bio brings to mind a certain other shaman whose name rhymes with "tall".
Guesticus 27th Jul 2020, 5:21 PM edit delete reply
So glad that Hotah and Lyra are now a 'thing' (in a good way), always hoped they would be :D
Can remember Lyra, just can't... visualize her (and don't want to make a bad guess)
Just because people are in a relationship, at any age, doesn't always mean sex is involved
Pedro Max de Carvalho 27th Jul 2020, 5:58 PM edit delete reply
Lyra and Hotah in a relationship ??
Akela 28th Jul 2020, 8:58 AM edit delete reply
I might have already asked this but can Kinar not have kids?

Or just a genetic thing with Serid?
Celineth 28th Jul 2020, 7:47 PM edit delete reply
I think Kinar can have kids, but Serid is infertile because he's a half-breed Tauren of different origins. Plus I'm not 100% sure worgen and tauren could have children anyway, because they come from entirely different species.
Amocin 28th Jul 2020, 8:00 PM edit delete reply
Its completely due to Serid's mixed breed. Most races in WoW can interbreed. Thats how we have half-orcs and half-elves and the like.
Rembrant 28th Jul 2020, 3:39 PM edit delete reply
Hotah and Lyra possibly in a relationship? That's actually pretty cool and heartwarming, good for them if it's true. It's also nice to see more of Koutack's nicer side, it's pretty cool to see he and Hotah became pen pals.

Its good to know the old beast found something to do now that the war is over! Writing letters or just writing is very relaxing.

Jet isn't using a burp rag.

As a new Grampa, I must say she's inviting baby-vomit crusted shoulder fur.
Amocin 31st Jul 2020, 6:38 PM edit delete reply
LoL, it is safer to go with the rag, but sometimes I risk it myself.
crazieanimefan1 1st Aug 2020, 6:17 PM edit delete reply
One question on the baby...is the elf blood elf or night elf? I didn't get to ask. lol

Also beware of bouncing baby around too...lol My daughter learned that the hard way with her nephew. I had taken a picture of the two, she had him bouncing on one knee to keep him calm...and got splattered. XD
Guest 2nd Aug 2020, 2:29 PM edit delete reply
Just noticed, is Jetnara ambidextrous? As a righty, I have always patted my kids with my right hand when burping them over the shoulder, so Jet using her left hand looks left-handed to me. A couple of pages ago she was holding the bottle in her right hand. Granted, if Jet was burping the baby the right-handed way, cute baby Camillia would not be in the foreground, so it could be a scene setup thing.
